sick, feeling like shit, not even able to get out of bed was certainly not how daniel expected to spend his first birthday as a famous figure. the members tried their best to make him feel well, but they all had to leave for practice, leaving daniel alone in his own thoughts.
sighing, daniel leaned over to grab his phone on the floor, turning it on, greeted with the notification of 17828 messages sent in the mmo group chat overnight. daniel smirked, understanding that taewoong and jaehan must've teamed up against jinwoo to bully him again.
thinking of the other mmo boys made him sad, they'd still be training in the basement, ignored by the public, chatting happily about their dreams to debut as he and jisung had. thinking that he did so well while his friends didn't made him feel sad.
such thoughts shouldn't be allowed though. he got lucky, that's all, it doesn't make him better than the rest or more talented, he just got a little more exposure. he cared deeply about his friends, and he was excited at the prospect that they all would be able to debut together one day.
perhaps his birthday would mark the start of a popularity he could gift upon the rest of the trainees, making their debut successful. this birthday would be his first with wannaone, the next the last, and he expected the following to be a mark of their debut together.
