you were performing the title song of your latest album for your comeback.
everything was great. until you made the wrong move, which wasn't as noticeable but the mistake was there.
you bit your tongue. you knew you done wrong, and couldn't help but feel a sense of guilt yet freedom running through your veins.
you got off stage, your performance heels making a clattering sound against the ground. your manager, however didn't look very pleased.
"y/n, i saw that mistake you made," she glared. "if you make another mistake, you're out of the company. got it?"
"yes," you nodded timidly. your manager reprimanding you was a new thing to you. she was always so kind and nurturing to you, so it was a contrasting demeanour you saw today.
maybe you shouldn't underestimate the woman. and definitely not overestimate your talent. you're not quite there, yet - you told yourself. you need practice and there's a lot of room for improvement.
you were knocked into real life. the idol life is a competition.
