The end of the day finally approached and Kayla was eager to get home to her family but she didn't have a ride home.

"Can you take me home?," She asked her English teacher, Mr. Carter.

"I'm sorry but, I can't," he said.

"I'll take you home, partner,"Rome said, watching from a distance.

Kayla saw him there but she didn't want to ask him for a ride because she doesn't trust him.

"I don't trust you," Kayla admitted.

Rome licked his bottom lip as Kayla approached him.

"You don't have any other choice," Rome said.

Kayla smirked as an idea popped in her head.

"I'll walk," she said.

Rome watched her walk away before getting in his car and following her.

"You sure you don't want a ride?," Rome asked, blasting Love by Kendrick Lamar.

"I'm positive," Kayla lied.

The Ohio wind hit her skin as she took another step.

"Get in the damn car!," Rome yelled, pressing on the break.

"Why should I?," Kayla asked.

"You're cold," Rome said in a duh tone.

Damn, she's stubborn, Rome thought as she hesitated to get in the car.

Kayla pressed her back against the leather seat.
"I can't believe this is happening," Kayla said.

Rome just shook his head before easing his foot off the brake.

"You didn't have any other choice," Rome said, slightly fed up with her attitude.

"Just take me home," Kayla said.

Kayla gave him the directions after that.

Rome listened to her voice and smiled as she kept pouting because she made a few mistakes and he pointed them out.

"Stop laughing at me!," Kayla yelled, grabbing a hold of the wheel and jerking the car to the left.

"Don't fuck up my car!," Rome yelled, moving her little hands.

Rome doesn't even like to have females in his car because they're always annoying and right now , Kayla is proving his point and he doesn't like that.

"My bad," Kyla said.

"I see my house ahead," Rome said.

"Wait, We're neighbors!," they yelled, simultaneously.

"Ah, that's just great,"Kayla said, sarcastically.

"Sounds sweet,"Rome smirked.

Rome stopped the car for Kayla to get out.

"Can you unlock the doors?," Kayla asked.

"Let me get your number," Rome said.

Kayla snatched his phone out of his hand and typed in her number.

"What should I save it as?" Kayla asked.

"Kayla with a blue heart," Rome responded.

Kayla did exactly that and then she passed him back his phone.

"You're welcome," Kayla said, touching the door handle as he took his phone back.

"Hey!," Rome yelled, making Kayla turn towards him.

"Wh-" Kayla was cut off by Rome smashing his lips against hers.

Their tongues moved in sync as We ride by Gucci mane blasted from the speakers.

They were so into the kiss that they didn't even notice Kayla's mom, Kimberly standing on the porch, watching them kiss.

"Look at her," Kayla's mom, Kimberly said.

Meanwhile, in the car they finally pulled away and pressed each other foreheads together.
"Thanks for the ride, " Kayla said, out of breath. "Anytime," Rome said, rubbing her thigh.
"Well, I'll text you," Kayla said, forgetting that she doesn't have his number but he has hers.
"Nah, I'll text you," Rome said, chuckling lightly.
"Right," Kayla said, moving his hand from her thigh.

Rome unlocked the door for her.

Kayla reached for one last kiss and Rome met her half way. She pecked his lips before finally getting out the car.

Rome shook his head because he didn't expect it to be that easy.

Now, he's getting closer and closer to accomplishing his goal.
