J E A L O U S Y
a spreading fire
engulfs my world,
fueled by desire,
the unstoppable unfurled,
scorched lobes of my brain
from glowing red handcuffs,
incinerating the dreadful pain
of not being good enough.i'm burning,
choking on smoke,
from the same yearning
that drowns each croak.
