Hazy smoke billows, hovering above,
awaiting aurora borealis.
Our buzzing admiration and great love
arises as she enters her palace.

A voice of nostalgia, living in youth.
Sweet strings of melodies strung together,
strumming hearts, broken and spilling the truth;
let's live in euphoria forever.

Lyrics flow out from thousands, a grand choir,
waving hands reaching to this lovely night,
dancing in passion's burning, crackling fire
with raining confetti and flashing light.

She has a glow so bright, a shining star,
yet I can't help but feel distant and far.

was thinking about posting this and finally decided to today. this was an english project where we had to write a sonnet. btw, it's about a concert i went to (happens to be my fav singer too :)) fun fact that i learned while writing this: fire, our, and choir and etc are all one syllable, not two.

also struggling to come up with good original ideas for my next art project. ideas anyone?? can't help but feel pressured to do well.
