T R A G E D Y ' S T E A R S
the rain drizzles down gently,
soft flashes of lightning
behind the windows of a packed bus departing.
my back freckled by drops,
a bright sky with mellow clouds
and mellifluous melodies in my ears.i've forgotten
the times the sky
sweetly kissed our broken souls,
mending us with its tearsever since
summer's heat brought a storm
that hung around too long,
that drowned our city,leaving us wallowing in
lingering destruction,
wondering
how many more tragedies
are to come.☆
