truth wants to spill out,
rolling out
one crashing wave after another
onto an empty shore,
letting the world know
my overflowing thoughts,
everything i've ever kept inside.
teeth of honestybut tongue of lies,
the temptation to play pretend,
to live in a fantasy,
to be your ideal,
oh,
how the lies glide so smoothly,
just another breath into the air full of them.
