Before reading this I recommend watching all season's of The Vampire Diaries because there will be some foreshadowing.
Also recommend watching The Originals at least through season 3, but it is not required to understand what will happen throughout the story. I will be writing some chapters bases in some episodes of TO but it won't matter for the plot-line, just some character development.
