Alexs POV

I rolled my eyes at the five almost naked boys that stood in a horizontal line, playing loogie on a high cliff above the quarry. I didn't want to play that with them but I stood in a place in the line anyway. I only had my underwear and bra on, but I was wearing a big oversized pull-over sweater that went down to my thighs so I didn't care much.

All of them each spit out the worst loogies you can imagine down the cilff and I couldn't help but laugh at Eddies attempt to spit one far enough, which it only managed to fall right in front of him onto the ground. I immediately held the laugh back when I realized that Eddie and Richie were fighting over who's loogie was better. I interrupted their argument by saying that no one won and Richie pretended to push me off the cliff, making me giggle. Bill sighed and sort of tensed up by asking a simple question that obviously no one will answer.

"Wh-who's going first?" he looked around for any answers. He didn't get any from the group, but from a familiar voice in the distance that made me crack a small smile at the sound of it being female. "I'll go!". I turned around, so did everyone else, to see Beverly Marsh throwing her bike to the floor and stripping off her dress.

She got a running start and we made a small gap between each other so she could jump. She seemed so unafraid as she leaped down with her arms and legs going crazy and a smile plastered onto her face. "What the FUCK!?!?" Richie shouted while she jumped. "Holy shit! We just got showed up by a girl!" Richie remarked nervously. I sighed with a smirk after. "Do we have to do that now?" Stan asks.

"That means I have to" I mutter while pulling off my sweater. I step closer to the edge and turn around to see all the boys. Richies eyes widened along with a smug smirk creeping onto his lips when he saw me. I flipped him off and jumped down the high cliff, a squeal leaving my lips in the process. "What the FUCK!!!" Richie repeated.

After I joined Beverly at the bottom, one by one the boys jumped down. Once we were all down, Eddie complained about how cold the water was and Richie, being the stupid 5 year old stuck in a 14 year olds body, started a water fight between everyone.

Every turn I took there would be someone splashing me and it was awesome. Eventually, Beverly insisted that we all have a chicken fight and so we did. I sat on Bills shoulders while Richie sat on Bens shoulders. Stan held his hand up and immediately shot it down, splashing the water and signaling to start the game. I ran into Richie, attacking him with my arms as he did the same to me. As we continued playing, I noticed he didn't have his glasses on and I couldn't help but look into those chocolate brown eyes of his. I'm not gonna lie, that is so adorable.

Somehow, we both managed to fall at the same time. They all laughed at us on our attempt to say which one of us was the one to win. "You fell first!" Richie yelled over the sounds of Stan and Eddie having another water fight along with Ben cheering on. "No, you fell right before I did and that is why I win. No questions asked!" I argue back, causing him to say "No no no no no, that is not true...". We both continued fighting until Bev came over and told us that we both lost. I flipped her off playfully and started a short water fight with Richie.

We all swam closer to the shore but didn't get out due to how much fun we were all having. Eddie was attempting to playfully drown Stan while Richie and I were singing a random and annoying song that we all knew would end up staying in everyone's heads forever. I could've sworn I saw something in the bushes beside the quarry. Like a hand or something but it had a little bit of blood on it. I ignored it because we were getting to the chorus which was the part where I like to shout out the words.

Sitting on the slightly hot rocks on the shore, basically already all dried off, we all sat down while I read a book with my sweater already back on. I sat in between Richie and Ben when I suddenly realize that all of the boys are staring at Beverly while she suntans, the song 'Bust A Move' playing on the boombox beside her. I roll my eyes and wave my hand in front of everybody so they can stop staring at her. The second I put my hand away, Bev turns around to see all of the boys looking elsewhere awkwardly. I giggle and put down my book when Richie started rummaging through Bens backpack which was beside me.

"News flash, schools out" Richie said in a terrible reporters voice as he continued through Bens stuff. I noticed something and picked it from what Richie was pulling out. "Who's this from?" I asked in a flirtatious tone as I realized it was a postcard. It had a picture of some building that I didn't know but was probably somewhere in Derry. Before I could flip it over to read, Ben had snatched it from my hand and mumbled "No one!" while blushing madly.

I looked at him skeptically for a second but decided to let it go. "What's with the history project?" Richie questioned while flipping through pages in a yellow folder. "Well, when I first moved here, I didn't really have any friends so I spent most of my time in the library. I ended up doing research on Derry." He explained. "You went to the library? On purpose?" Richie said sarcastically. I nudged his shoulder with a smile and he giggled. "Oh, awesome hair Bev" I said, the boys' eyes all fixating onto her fiery red and now short hair.

I furrowed my eyebrows at the sight of one of the headlines. "What's the Black Spot?" I asked. "The black spot was a night club that got burned down years ago by that racist cult".

I flinched at all of the news that were in the folder. "Why is it all murders and missing kids" I ask, confused why it's mostly kids.

Ben pursed his lips before answering. "Derry's not like any town I've been in before. People die or disappear six times the national average." Ben explains, making everyone tense and glance at one another. "And that's just grown ups. Kids are worse... way, way worse." He states.

"You guys want to see more? I have some at my house" He asks, everyone saying different versions of yes except for Eddie, who was aggressively shaking his head no as we began to leave the Quarry.

Hope you liked this chapter! It didn't have much focusing on the two but whatever.
