Grandpa Kent

My eyes slowly flutter open and I yawn. I grab my axe from the ground and stand up, taking a minute to stretch. "Wow, that was rough. I cannot believe I slept that long, especially not in such an uncomfortable position." I look up at the sky through the leaves. "Oh great! I decided to take a short stroll out before the sun came up, and it's already afternoon! And I was going to collect some wood..." I rest my axe up on my shoulder and set a brisk pace back to our cottage.

I walk past animal trails and broken branches and finally set my eyes upon my house in the distance. It's situated in a small clearing, a rough path of cobble stones leading to the door through a warm and welcoming garden. I knock on the door but receive no answer. It appears Gemine isn't home... did she go out to buy something or... I can't seem to remember. I reach down and swipe the key from out of under one of the stones. I unlock the door and replace the key. Groaning, I shake off my boots and make my way through the hallway. I take a left turn into the living room and crash onto the sofa. My back is killing me and I need to get some decent shut eye... Just a few minutes...
