Chapter 44

I have a few chapters written out for christmas so I thought as a build up on those chapters, I should write a christmas shopping chapter! Yes, I am well aware and I want to warn you now... this chapter sucks. Hope you enjoy! :D

Its been a week or so since the fight but I just brushed it past and continued on. I ignored Harper as much as I could throughout the week but we get a few weeks off because of christmas break and New Year. I cant wait, even though we already just got back at school but we have been there for a month so, Im already tired of it. Lucky for me, today is the last period of the last day and in a few days is christmas so Kat is going to pick me up after school so we can go christmas shopping together. When the final bell rang, an instinctive sigh of relief left my lips as I got to my locker and chucked the few things into my backpack that I have to finish before racing up to Landon's locker. He is standing there and putting a folder in his locker and I sprint on to his back. He instinctively hooked his arms around my legs, giving me a piggy back. "Finally!" I say before he lets me down and continues to do the stuff he needs to in his locker. We walk out of the school together and the breeze smacks me in the face. "Want to come over and hang out babe?" Landon asked while we walk toward the parking lot. "Sorry babe, Kat is picking me up to do some last minute christmas shopping but, maybe later!" I say before giving him a hug and a kiss goodbye before walking over to the car.

Lets just say the trip to the mall was... entertaining. We blasted music and sung to it because the mall we wanted to go to was half an hour away but had literally every store we wanted to go into. It was almost impossible to get a car parking space but we found one. We grabbed smoothies because the store was right where we walked in. We continued on our way before going into our first store. Victoria Secret. I wanted to go in here to get something for Devyn and Sky. We went in and I found a lovely body mist that Kat and I both loved. I carried it around the store and we would open it every few minutes to sniff the cap. Kat wanted to look at the clothing so I just followed her because I was finished. I didn't end up finding anything for Sky like I had hoped. Of course, at this time, Will had to walk past with his brother. Before he could see me, I turned around and quickly walked to the other stuff, hidden deeper in the store. Kat followed me and started asking if I was ok. "Im fine really! I just saw someone..... I know and I didn't want them so see me looking at that stuff, if you know what I mean." I say before carefully turning around to make sure he didn't see me. "Why did you pause why saying that?" She asks while we walk to the cash register. "He... tried to kiss me last week and its been pretty awkward since then." I spill, giving in to her question. "Ohhhh, ok then." We pay before heading to the next store. I went into hot topic for a gift for Colby and maybe even Landon. In hot topic, I found a beanie and a Nivana hoodie. The beanie was midnight black and was made of wool, with stitching making it detailed and very modern. I found a few gifts for everyone else including Kat when she went into a store I had never heard of for Sam's christmas present. When I got home, I penny boarded to Landon's apartment. I knocked on the door but it swung open to reveal Alex but he was overly intoxicated. "Hello beautiful, how can I help you?" He said. His words slurred as they left his mouth and he welcomed me in. I walked in reluctantly, but quickly into the house.

I went to go to Landon's room to see if he was here but on my way there, I was swiftly turned around and pinned against the wall. "Why are you here honey?" Why am I always getting chased?! Im not that good looking so I really don't understand why this is happening. "Im here to see your roommate and my boyfriend! Landon!" I scream his name. I continue to scream it while he starts to kiss me. I try to break away from him but I cant, even though he is absolutely wasted, he is incredibly strong. I do the only thing I can think of. "Hey, can you lock the door to make sure Landon doesn't come home?" I ask in a flirty tone. He lets go and starts to walk towards the door. Before continuing to the door, he turns around to me and I smirk at him, winking. He smirks at me, stumbling towards the door. It takes him awhile because he stumbles and grips on to things so he doesn't fall over. I manage to find some christmas ribbon left on the floor and sprint over to it, while encasing his hands together with the ribbon. "Oh, you want it to be like this, huh?" He asks before I slap him and quickly go to my phone. I call Landon and lucky for me, he answers in a few rings. "Hey bab......" I interrupt him. "Landon, where are you?! I came over and Alex tried to kiss me!" I scream through the phone. I turned my back to him and before I know it, I'm pinned against the wall again, kissed. "Landon!" I manage to scream, moving my face away from his. I drop my phone and sigh. "Sorry Alex!" I say before kneeing him in the stomach and punching him. He drops to the floor, clenching at his stomach and eye, moaning in pain. The door swings open again and Landon bursts in. "Thank god!" I say, running over to him and letting him encase me in a hug. "Im sorry Lan, he was kissing me and... and.... I had to get him off me!" I say, taking a deep breath and stumbling my words. "Shhhh, hey! You did what you had to do!" He says. He let go of my and picked Alex up, slinging his arm around his shoulder and taking him to his room. "Jules, can you get an ice pack please?" He asks from the hall way. "Yeah!" I say, feeling guilty and my voice cracking as I say this. I manage my way to his room where Alex has passed out on his bed. I place the ice pack on his eye before I help Landon with the groceries he had came home with. We put them away before I call for a pizza delivery. I texted Sam:

J- Juliet S- Sam

J - Hey Sammy! Im @ Landon's, cant be bothered to penny home so I'm going to stay here. Will come home tomorrow morning. Hope that is ok <3

S - Sure, be safe.

J - You 2 <3

Landon turned on his TV and we decide to watch Netflix. I chose Riverdale because Landon hadn't watched it yet and I really wanted him to. I grabbed the Pizza once it arrived and we ate before I fell asleep in Landon's arms on the couch.
