31 Draco Malfoy x Harry Potter || The Room of Requirement (Christmas)

Harry Potter x Draco Malfoy. 

"Potter, what the hell are you doing here?"

"I could ask the same of you, Malfoy"

It was Christmas Eve and Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy had both found themselves wandering the corridors of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, pondering on family, or thereby lack of, and happier times.

As is customary of the lonely and heartsick, especially at Christmas, each had stumbled across an ancient oak door which had seemingly materialised just for them. Both boys swore to themselves, and eventually to the other, that they'd never noticed it before. This was undoubtedly true as they had never needed it as much as they did now, and the room only presented itself to those who really required it.

And they did require it.

They were two broken boys, one of the dark and one of the light - I'll leave you to judge which was which. Two poster boys for grief who, despite their differences, managed to find solace and companionship that eve. They cuddled up under an ornate Christmas tree, next to a roaring fireplace, pondering, for the first time, the happiness of the present moment.
