What inspired you to start your art journey?
To be honest, it wasn't much like what others had. I know some people have stories of how they got inspired and such but for me I don't have much say. It really all started because I was honestly bored of life (I was still so young back then...). So one (fateful) day, I played with MS Paint and made a piece. Random much? Yes. Anyways, I hated it. Turned out absolutely terrible. Looking back I'm quite shocked how much I loathed a single piece of art (who really did nothing wrong). That being said, I still hate it until this day.

So, I then kept trying to improve myself to finally like my art. It was like a challenge that I would never back down (since I hate losing). But I still have a long way to go because guess what(?!) I still dislike my art OTL.

How long have you been an artist?
Artist, please define artist. Because if I were to say so myself, I was quite an artist in the kitchen (burning every single dish I make). But I guess everyone here is more thinking of a pencil-and-a-paper artist. I guess you could say since I was younger, I always thought that my writing was beautiful (boiii was I wrong).

Jokes aside, I've drawn in school during art class but really that was it. I took art classes (only because my mom had nowhere to put me as we waited one hour for my sister in her art class). But no offence, I only learnt how to be annoying. I failed those classes to begin with since I never did anything (luckily it was free).

I would like to say I was an artist since 2015 because that's when I started to do art as a hobby than more of an "I-want-an-A" in art class.

What does posting art on Wattpad mean to you?
As a few of you may know (or not), Wattpad was initially a place for me to post light novels... since I had my moments where I wished to be an author. Back then, I never would have thought that it would be anything more. That being said, I stumbled across an artbook, only to be shocked thinking "is this a joke?". Yes, spring 2017 Themes (me) was a secretly a bully (jk, I was just had some rude thoughts/comments). That being said, I checked it out since I was an wannabe-artist. I still clearly remember how amazed I was, how much excitement filled me as I read them. It really made me realize, "wow, unlike dA (where 70% are pros too busy to talk), everyone's a weirdo." I loved it.

Wattpad is seriously a cozy environment, where you can meet weirdos like yourself (no offence) and not get super overwhelmed by professionals. I love everyone here and am thankful for the continuous support. Special shoutout to the Potato Fam, who was and will always be supportive until the end!!

Any advice for artists starting out on Wattpad?
I'm not the best person to ask these questions in all honesty, but here goes. First off, starting something new is scary. I know how overwhelming it is but don't give up. You shouldn't have too big expectations either, everyone starts small. Keep that in your head and move forward. I know a lot of other artists already mentioned that but it's probably one of the biggest things you should know. I hope you the best of luck!!
