I met Yuri half-way between the ice and the box that I came from. His breathing was finally coming back to its normal amount and his hair had returned from it's high ponytail and back to sitting softly on his shoulders.

"You were amazing," I say stopping him in the hallway

"I know."

"I am going to work hard tonight to beat you tonight."

"And you also have a boyfriend's heart to break tonight," Yuri shoots as he tries to leave me behind again

"Look," I say, my words stopping him, but his back was still facing me, "I only said that he was my boyfriend because I wanted you to shut up. That is why I won't have to break up with him and the reason why I have been a jerk lately was bec-"

"Because you were too jealous of Otabek being here to see me perform and is the only person that actually ca-."

"For the first part you got it right, but can I apologize for once so I can clear up my mistake before I have to go out on the ice and have a guilty conscience because I actually care about you, Yuri. You are one of two people I have ever met that have truly ever understood why I am in my position."

"You never learn," Yuri says, "I told you not to apologize."

"Are you even listening?" I ask, "If you don't care then just tell me! Then I can move on a go back to Sweden. I'll give up my chance for you. I know you enough to know that if you lose your trust in me, you never will again, so I might as well go back."

Not like I have a choice, but okay (Y/N).

"What do you expect me to say?" Yuri laughs, "You expect me to come out and say 'I understand how you feel'? Because I actually do, okay. I know what it's like to have nobody around. I know what jealousy is like... I have to go. I'll see you on the ice, (Y/N)."

"You know, Yuri, I love it when you call me by my real name," It was too late, he was too far down the hallway to hear

It seemed like forever until I reached the entrance to the rink. There was an eerie feeling stretching across the room and my stomach as I remove my robe and my guards. I pinch the inside of my hand as I watch the figure skating trainees leave the ice.

"Next to perform is our final competitor, (Y/N) (L/N) of (C/N) skating to Le Miserables," The announcer says in a cool voice

I enter the ice and remove my robe from my body as I felt all eyes on me with an eerie silence. My dress went down to my mid thigh and was a light gray with black flames starting from my waist and up to an inch from my collar bone. It had long sleeves with sparkly gray material, just as the other, but seemed to have a rip look at the edge. I was wearing black eyeshadow and mascara, carefully put on by the nice ladies at the local makeup supply store nearby by the restaurant.

Looking around as I moved to center ice, I saw Yuri along with Yuuri talking to each other in quiet voices with serious expressions written across both of their faces. Auson was with the other businessmen and women, but, unlike the others, he was looking at me. I turn away and move my arms into their starting positions.

Moving my arms down with the music along with my feet, I also notice, out of the corner of my eye to say the least, that Yuri and Yuuri- That sounds so weird out loud- had stopped their conversation and were intently staring at my every move. Yuuri plants a small smile on his face as Yuri makes some sort of comment while moving his hands in a dramatic motion.

I push off my right foot and do five backward crossovers before turning to face the other side of the stadium and, still continuing on my backward crossovers, make a small three turn, preparing for an upcoming jumps. Lifting up my leg into a camel position, I quickly jump off that leg and into a beautiful triple lutz into triple axel, or at least I think so. Moving forward and beginning my forward crossovers, I silently praise myself on my awesome transition. Doing a two-foot-turn, I flip around again and do a few of my backward half swizzle pumps. I flip around again and do a small axle, in front of the judges booth hint hint, and the jump off shortly after into a lutz, landing in a camel spin where I moved my leg sideways into a bent-leg layover spin. I push my foot on the ground, unnoticed I may add, to help my spin go a little longer and change it to a shotgun spin and then quickly, to a Y spin with an ankle hold. As the music changed, so did I as I moved from a Y spin to a one foot spin, a simple spin that I learned a long, long time ago back when I lived with my father.
