Russia didn't really give me a good welcome when I first arrived, the air was damp, the sky clouded and grey, and the people on the airport had the most tired looks I've ever seen (probably because it was 10 at night). The weather seemed to follow me to the house that I share with Yuri and other skaters I've only just run into after given the tour.

Yuri stopped next to a wooden door that had a piece of paper written on it saying 'new person'.

"This is your room," Yuri says as he opens it a little, "Do you want to do the honors?"

"Sure," I say as I push open the door

My bed sat in the back of the room with a large canvas of me and Camille in front of Gröna Lund in Sweden. The room was a creme color and had dark wood floors with one window with white drapes in front of it. All of my things were in boxes except for my dresser filled with all of my clothes. I ignore a creepy thought that someone had to of gone through my stuff to put that away.

Yuri walks over to my bed and sits down on my brown bed sheets.

"Welcome to your new home."

"Thanks," I frown, "I don't think I'll miss my old home, but I will miss (C/N) and definitely Sweden."

"You're confusing," Yuri says

"So are you," I jump next to Yuri on my bed

"You did great yesterday, I don't think I told you that," Yuri looks at me smiling softly

"You did better though," I smile back, "I'll need a lot more work to beat you next year."

"You know,"Yuri whispers as he gets closer to my face, "This seems like something Victor would do," He kisses me softly on the lips," but I seem to make it work. The performance was great, I mean. Wasn't that-"

I interrupted his little 'speech' with a more chast of a kiss on the right side of his lips, "Goodnight, Yuri."

"No way," Yuri says as I try to walk him out of the room

"Yes way," I laugh," I need my sleep."

"Fine," Yuri says, "See you tomorrow at practice."

"See you then," I say

Days later Yuri gave me his winning money, which I gave to Cammile and saved her family from being homeless for a while, so they can get back on their feet. Yuri saved my best friend forever I was in his debt. Luckily he forgot I owe him a favor and never used me to do anything stupid, just yet! I'm still alive!

One year later Yuri and Victor adopted a little girl and raised her in their little hot spring.

Four years later I was entered in to the Winter Olympics and won gold for my country with Yuri in the stands (for once) cheering me on.

Ever since I moved from Russia Yuri has never left my side.
