Chapter 5.2

"Nganga ka, noh?" sabi ni Mia Kyle. Nakangiti na lang ako kay Mia Kyle. Kinikilig o ano? Pero bigla lumaki mga mata ko. Shet. Makakita ka kaya ng multo?! Biglang lumapit sa akin. "DAN!" sigaw nilang lahat. I was scared. For the first time. I was scared. Ramdam kong tinutulak ako ng multo outside the room and by the edge of the building. I couldn't push back. Kita ko ang mga kaklase kong tumatakbo sa akin. Pero it was damn sudden. I was falling. From the fourth floor of the building. I just wished my body was strong enough to hold the pain.

Then someone in my head said, "Wake up..." Or is it just merely the people around me? I was on the bed. Hospital bed. Can't feel myself moving. Paralyzed. Sana temporarily. The doctor then said, "Good, you're awake." Biglang pasok ng mga kaklase ko, specifically. Ang tropa. "Ui Dan, how you feeling?" sabi nina Nixon nang pumasok sila. Lumabas ang doctor. I answered honestly...

"Just great. It's a miracle I did not crack any bone..." I replied. Then jumped out of bed. Pero pagtanggal ko ng kumot, nagulat kaming lahat. My body was on fire. "Dude, you got your powers back," sabi ni Hertz. I got off of bed. Then tried it commanding, "Shining Nova!" biglang may beam of white light na lumabas sa mga palms ko. Biglang tumagos ito sa glass window ng ward ko. SHET. Nawala na ang flames sa katawan ko.

"Dude, hindi ito powers ko, kay Cody ito..." sagot ko. Wait. Why do I have his powers anyway? Pero the fact that I have it. Does that mean... Cody's somewhere in me? No. No. E di sana kanina pa ito nagpaparamdam, di ba? Natapos na lang ang araw.

*Hertz' POV*

Dismissal the next day. Hinihintay pala ako ni Fritz sa labas ng campus. Pauwi na sana ako. Nang maalala kong haharapin nga pala ni Fritz si Carson. "Hertz, di ba kaklase niyo si Carson?" tanong ni Fritz. I nodded my head. "Doon pa rin ba siya nakatira?" tanong nito. "Siguro," sagot ko. Sumakay na kami sa kotse niya sabay maneho si Fritz.

30 minutes later ay dumating na kami sa harap ni Carson. Ako nang kumatok sa pinto. Si Carson ang nagbukas. Hihilahin ko na sana ang flashlight sa bulsa ko nang umimik si Carson, "No need. I know what happened to everything. How Cody turned to Zealand." *gasp*

"Wait, how?" tanong ni Fritz. "I can travel through time. And believe me, everything you think won't happen. Already did. Come on in. And call everyone else," sabi ni Carson sabay invite sa loob ng bahay niya. I dialled everyone aware of the reality.

Thirty more minutes and everyone was in the house. Daniel, Eliza, Nixon, Doanne and Dette...

*Daniel's POV*

Bilis kong makarecover sa ospital noh? Tapos parang ilusyon lang ata yung powers ni Cody na nasa akin kanina. "Teka, teka, teka, Carson. Sure ka bang hindi mo nakalimutan ang lahat?" pagtataka ko. He started explaining:

"Remember the day when Kyoi Inc. crumbled? Di ba natabunan kayo ni Cody? Lahat ng kasama mo noon ay focused sa paghahanap sa iyo. Walang nakapansin kay Cody. Habang silang lahat ay nakatuon sa paghahanap sa'yo, may kaluluwang tinangkang nakawin ang katawan ni Cody. Sumanib ito kay Cody. Biglang tumakas si Cody na sinaniban na. Sinundan ko si Cody. Dumating ako sa point na nagbukas ang isang gate sa 'other world'. Nagtago ako at pinanuod ang lahat. Biglang dumoble ang katawan ni Cody at kinaladkad ng copy niya ang original into the 'other world'. Tinangka kong pasukin ang 'other world' pero may forcefield... pero kita ko ang Raef, Kyoi Inc., at ang Lightning Kingdom ni June in the other world. All of them happened, na-brainwash lang tayo into believing there's none."

Nixon spoke, "So if everything existed. Does that mean..." Eliza continued, "Cody's conscience was a fake?" I answered, "I doubt he's not. After this conversation." Biglang may pumalakpak. Humarap kami sa door. It was Cody's conscience standing ala gangster with an evil smile. "Wala talagang nagbago, you all are still gullible," he insults. Susugurin ko na sana kaso wala nga pala akong powers.

"Like seriously, who are you?" the girls yelled. It just held its face and pulled out its skin. Eeww. Shit. It's Nexus Cody. "I told you I'll be back," he said. "Find a way to get to the other world. Fritz and I will rip the skin off this animal," Carson said. "Not exactly..." Nexus said snapping his fingers.

Biglang bumagsak at na-knockout sina Dette, Hertz, Doanne, at Fritz. "Did I tell you the flashlight was actually a hypnotizing device?" Nexus said. Biglang tumayo sila parang mindless zombies. Then there's light protruding in their hands. Uh-oh, may powers sila, kami'y wala. RETREAT! Tumakas kami nina Nixon, Eliza, at Carson sa backdoor. Paano toh?! Si Carson lang ang aming line of defense... 

"Now I hate myself for being such a dumbass..." I said panting to the way called 'safe haven'. "Hey guys, I think we're far away from them for now," sabi ni Carson sabay preno kami. Nagpatuloy si Carson, "Okay. Nagawa ni Nixon ang Blood Rain niya nung kinakalaban ni Daniel si Doanne dahil sa akin." HA?! PAKI-EXPLAIN.

"I went back in time to stop the one who took your powers. And after maybe three seconds ago I just went back in time to recover your powers, okay?" pahingal-hingal na sagot ni Carson. Then, there's this warmth in my hands. I can feel my eyes burning and my fingers sharpening. OHYES! DOKU HEBI NA ULIT AKO! I JUST MISS MY JUDGMENT SLASHING DAYS!

Tiningnan ko sina Eliza at Nixon. Well, Eliza is in her #alteredsyntax Mode. AND GOSH. I LOVE THIS HELL OF A GIRL. Then Nixon was in his original blood-slashing Syntax Mode. "Time to wake them up back to their senses!" I said. Sige. Takbo pabalik sabay sugod to wake up those four. I took on Hertz. Nixon took on Dette. Eliza took on Doanne. Carson took on Fritz.

IT REALLY TOOK ME LONG ENOUGH TO MAKE AN UPDATE. Grabe. Sorry guys for more than a month hiatus. College life. Tapos inaatake pa ako ng writer's block. Kaya ganito kashort muna. FIGHT SCENES KASI ANG SUNOD EH. Ma'favorite. I'll do my best to update this weekend.

One more thing, uulitin ko lang. Parang hindi pa ako pwede gumawa ng chapter with special participations. Sorry guys to disappoint ya.
