Chapter 9

*Cody's POV*

"...Cody. Wake up," someone was crying out my name. A girl's voice. Sakit ng ulo ko. Grabe. "Cody, kapag hindi ka pa sumagot dyan, mamamatay ang buong sanlibutan," mataray na voice na. "Oo na, oo na," sumagot ako na pinipilit gumising. And I was sitting on a wooden floor tied to someone.

"Happy anniversary beh!" sigaw nung girl. Oh wait. Si WIFEY! "Uh babe? Alam mo namang hindi June 13, 2016 ngayon, di ba?" tanong ko kay Eliza. "Cody naman, baka iba ang oras sa dimension na toh, heller?" Never thought of it that way.

"Haiiiii. Buti na lang gising ka na..." sabi niya. Sumigaw si Eliza, "EliDy! Summon!" Sumagot ako nang may pagtataka, "Uh, alam mo namang wala na tayong powers, di ba?" Biglang lumabas out of nowhere si EliDy untying the rope. Sumagot si Eliza, "Nawala nga powers ko, pero si EliDy... special yan. Anak natin yan di ba, husbandy?" Sabagay. Tumayo na kami. I looked at my skin... It was nothing, just glowing white lines that show the shape of my body.

"Don't worry Cody my husband, Eliza and EliDy got yo back!" sabi ni wifey. Uh sweet. "Uh babe, may namiss ako sa'yo..." sabi ko sabay ngiti. Inayos niya hair yan sabay hatak sa ulo ko. Wha!!! *tsup* Five seconds later, sumagot siya, "Kala mo hindi tayo pareho ng iniisip." I looked at EliDy na nakacover ang mata gamit ang kamay. Hahaha.

I looked at everywhere. Many chairs, red curtain, wooden stage, auditorium. Wait, kung auditorium toh, this means this used to be Raef. I pulled Eliza with me towards the doors of the auditorium and pushed it. Pero nakalock.

"Cody, naririnig mo ba ang naririnig ko?" sabi ni Eliza. Parang may nakatakot sa glass. I thought carefully. This is the auditorium. So biglang takbo ako sa stage sabay hila ng curtains. "KELVIN!" sigaw namin ni Eliza. Eh kasi naman, nakakulong si Kelvin sa isang higanteng hourglass with red sand raining down on him.

"Now what?" nagpapanic si Eliza. I started searching for anything that can set Kelvin free. Sinusubukan naman ni Eliza at EliDy basagin ang glass. Palakas nang palakas ang pagdadabog ni Kelvin... Found it. Agad kong sinunggaban ang martilyo sa toolbox sa backstage sabay hampas sa hourglass. CRACK. CRACK. At nagshatter ang hourglass.

"Ui Kelvin," inalalayan namin si Kelvin na nasuffocate from red sand dust. Paubo-ubo itong sumagot, "C-Cody..." Sumagot ako, "Yeah?" Dumiretso ang mga salita nito sabay sunggab ng yakap sa akin, I mean, what is it with guys nowadays and they're all hugging me? Hehehe. Mabilis na nagsalita si Kelvin na halos di ko na magets, "Ohsht. Buhay ka pa pala..." Counter response ko, "Ah, so gusto mong patay na ako?" Sumagot agad si Kelvin, "Hindi. Hindi naman sa ganun. What I mean is... ang tagal tagal tagal tagal tagal ka na namin hinahanap, paano ka nga pala umabot dito?" Sumagot ako, "Long story. Pero bago ako magsimula, can we get out of here first?"
