So the ending was pretty confusing, so let's have a recap of the last chapter, shall we?
Scott and Crystal, who had started falling for each other, went to a ball Daniel was planning. Scott was going to betray Crystal, that's what was supposed to happen from the beginning; Daniel had hired him to find her and bring her to the palace. So, yeah. Daniel and Cheryl are Crystal and Tristan's true parents and Caroline isn't their sister, she's their cousin. Alastor never had any other children with Olivia.
And you'll see why everything happened later. I can't tell you that yet.

The book picks up exactly where we left off, but there will soon be a timeskip.
