"Hey, Mads, are you sure it's going to work?" I asked, feeling unsure how things would end up. I grabbed my guitar and ended up play a song for her.

🎶Well, open up your mind and see like me,
Open up your plans and damn you're free.
Look into your heart and you'll find that the sky is yours.
So please don't, please don't, please don't...
There's no need to complicate.
'Cause our time is short.
This oh, this oh, this is our fate.
I'm yours.

Oh, I'm yours
Oh, I'm yours
Oh, oh,
Baby, do you believe, I'm yours?
You best believe, you best believe, I'm yours.🎵

"You should sing that to him and I'm sure it's gonna work. Well, that is, if someone doesn't ruin the plan," Madison said, clapping her hands.
"Wait how would I know it's him? I mean everyone is wearing a mask. And what do you mean by someone?"
"One question at a time, kiddo."

It was going perfectly as planned. Madison's cousin and his cleaning crew came to clean the house while I got in Madison's car to go to the party. We arrived and it was super crowded. I gripped onto Madison's arm so I won't get lost and soon, she told me, pointing to a guy, "That's him. Oliver Chase."
"You found out his name?"
"He was in my English class. He loves music because you know, he's kind of a youtuber."
"Thanks, Maddie. I really appreciate it. For all your work."
"Anytime. I'm going to try and distract your stepmother for you. I will go to you if anything happens. Now go and get him! While I get myself something yummy to eat..." Madison said, heading over to the snacks table.

"Hi!" I greeted him nervously.
"Hey." Oliver smiled, turning around.
"Uh... I want to show you something. Follow me."
I led him out to the patio. I grabbed my guitar on the way, which was hidden behind the bush.
"Wow. You hid your guitar there? What else are you hiding?" He chuckled.
"Nothing else."
We came to a bench and we sat down. I started playing and singing, hoping he would like it.

🎶Well you done done me and you bet I felt it
I tried to be chill but you're so hot I melted
I fell right through the cracks
And now I'm trying to get back
Before the cool done run out
I'll be giving it my best-est
And nothing's going to stop me but divine intervention
I reckon it's again my turn,
To win some or learn some🎵

"Who are you?" He whispered looking at me through his mask.
"I'm not telling," I replied.
The cold air was starting to make me have goosebumps but I just ignored the feeling. Sounds from the party passed through my ears and I wondered how they could be so loud. But I should be thankful for my best friend, Madison Allen, for that, I know the evil witch isn't coming out anytime soon.
"Please take off your mask." He pleaded.
"Why?" I asked.
"I want to know who you are." He reasoned.
I raised an eyebrow at the person standing in front of me, not saying anything.
"You have a really sweet voice... a voice of an angel. I want to see the owner of this beautiful voice."
I smiled and raised my hand to untie the string of my mask.
