NATE POV

Incorrigible. That would be the word I would use to describe my little sister. Why in the hell would she decide to fly out here? What for?

I was beyond mad and my brain was trying to work out the best way to go about this. Obviously now she knew the extent to Scarlett and I's relationship, but she also didn't know the real reason behind it. She had just waltzed in and decided to judge. I do admit it must've come as a shock but, why act this way?

Walking down the stairs that led to the plaza I found Oliver with Alex, sitting at an outdoor café. When Alex saw me, she groaned

"Really Olly?!" she exclaimed to Oliver who shrugged his shoulder and didn't really seemed to mine when I motioned for him to get out the chair.

"I have to talk to my sister for a moment" I told my friend and he nodded before walking away to the plaza.

"I don't have anything to tell you" Alex said, and I couldn't help but roll my eyes at her.

"What is your problem?" I asked her, and she looked away, clenching her jaw

"You don't think my brother and my married best friend hooking up isn't a big problem already?" she asked, and I narrowed my eyes.

"Alex, cut it out" I mumbled, and she looked at me

"Cut what out?" she asked, crossing her arms on top of her chest

"I know you know" I said, and he raised an eyebrow

"Of course, I know. I just saw you guys!" she shrieked, and I tilted my head

"No, I'm talking about you knowing about me having feelings for Scarlett for years. And you also knew she and I were having an affair" I said, and she raised her eyebrows, but didn't say anything. I knew my sister, and her silence confirmed all of my suspicious

"So I was right. You've known, everything" I said and Alex stayed quiet, her eyes looking down like she was ashamed

"But why choose to keep quiet?" I finally asked and she looked like she didn't wanna talk anymore

"I didn't want my best friend to get together with you. You've had it all! Why do you want my friend too!" she said exasperated and I raised my eyebrows

"She was my best friend first, Alex" I said

"Yeah but you left. You left her, and you left me. Yes I knew what was happening but it doesn't mean it didn't hurt. I'm sorry that happened to you, but Nate you were my best friend since I can remember. Now you want me to be okay with you taking my new best friend away and on top of that be okay with her cheating on her husband?" she asked me as if it was the craziest of ideas. The fact that she was able to side with Andrew was beyond my understanding

"He beat her up, Alex! Are you blind!" I said exasperated and she frowned.

"What?"

"You can't tell me you didn't see her bruises" I said, beyond furious just remembering the events. She still looked frozen
