You.

You.
Unlike the summer winds,
You are cold.

You gamble with death,
You don't care.
You were a player,
With hearts.

But, there was one girl.
One girl,
That you trusted.
That you fell in love with.

You swooned her with your hurricane eyes,
Like a shell to the sea.

You took her to sea,
Like a love sick sailor,
Wanting to impress,
The fish like the sea.

You gambled with death,
And broke her heart.

Even when your parents,
Like a dog,
Told you,
'Never gamble with the devil',
Only to protect you.

But,
Like everyone else,
You never listened.

But she listened,
And talked to you,
Like an owl,
To her young,
Not to fly.

But, you never listened,
And you gambled with death,
And lost.

You broke her heart,
And you never saw her again.

Because,
She visits you,
At sea,
Where your eyes belonged,
And where you met the devil.

Only,
No deal was made.
Because,
You didn't make it to make a deal.

You belong in the sea, and that's where you went.
You gambled with death,
And broke her heart.
