"finnick, finnick wake up!"
i sat up quickly.
"clayton?" i asked. "what're you doing here already?"
clayton smiled. "the rest of the team is outside. Snow got the message."
i jumped up. "he did?!"
clayton nodded. "yeah. Cook said to meet her right away."
i smiled and pulled on a grey t-shirt and sweatpants. i brushed my teeth and fixed my hair and headed out the door.
"hey Boggs." i said. "Cressida. Messalla. Pollux." i greeted the others and they smiled happily.
we arrived at the capitol as President Coin let us in.
"sit." she said. "there's a surprise."
i sat down next to clayton and sighed. surprise?
we waited for an hour when Coin and through the doors.
she was smiling.
"what?" i asked.
she didn't hesitate. "they're here."
i jumped out of the seat in a split second and burst through the doors.
Peeta and Johanna laid in separate beds. like seen before, Johanna was bald.
"johanna!" i smiled and hugged her.
"hey finnick."
"peeta? how ya doin bud?" i asked as i approached his bed.
he looked at me with an evil look in his eye.
"are you ok?" then i knew why.
"it was Snow. he gave me that pill, i didn't mean to kill her Peeta, i swear."
Peeta took a deep breath and nodded.
"brook..." i muttered.
"she's in here!" said Coin.
i raced to where she was and looked inside the window.
she was fighting to get out.
"go in. slowly." Coin instructed.
i opened the door and Brooklynn froze.
"brook..." i was already in tears.
i sat on the edge of the bed.
"hey." i said calmly.
her hair was a mess and she was as white as a ghost. she looked scared.
"brook, it's me. it's-."
i got cut off by the tight grip of hands around my neck.
i fought to get loose but it wasn't any good.
soon, i blacked out.
