Set me free,

and let me loose;

Your reigns on me,

are starting to get too tight.

I tried to get away from you,

but every time I try,

You tighten the reigns,

and I become stuck to you.

I wanted to be here for you;

to protect, love, and care for you...

But the price is too high,

and the strings are too tight...

I'd try but I can't breathe!

every single time,

it's the same old game,

where your in the clear;

and I am the one to blame.

I think I need someone to come and save me,

before your reigns get so tight,

that you come

and strangle me.

You can see it in my eyes,

I am pleading for help;

For I came because you told me you were lonely,

but I'm not the only you've caught in your snares and lies.

I wanted to be your friend,

but you only wanted another happy song to end...

So I'll end this here...

Just please leave me alone.
