I let myself sleep on the short plane ride from Chicago to Washington. It wasn’t the best night’s sleep, but I got to sleep even more on the way to the Cullen’s house, then even more in Edward’s room.

“Mmm,” I think I made that sound. I groaned then, snuggling into Edward’s chest more. I could feel the vibrations from his chuckle, making me grin lazily.

“What time is it?” I mumbled.

“About 9, are you still tired love?” He questioned right back.

“If I was still tired, I think I would still be sleeping yeah?” I grumbled, closing my eyes again and pulling my body even closer to his. He chuckled again. I didn’t think I was that funny, but hey, whatever floats his boat.

“You are grumpy Miss Swan; whatever shall we do about that?” His voice asked, low and seductive. I moaned, not ready to be horny in the morning. He moved so quick that I suddenly found myself on my back with him on top of me. After blinking a couple times I finally righted my vision and saw two dark golden eyes staring back at me. I leaned up to kiss him, thinking that was what he was intending. But no…I was poorly mistaken.

His long pianist fingers crept up my sides as his body held mine to the bed.  I couldn’t move and he was about to tickle me. Crap. Starting at my ribs, I tried to hold back the laughter that was bubbling up to the surface. I think my lip might bleed from how hard I was biting it.

“E-Edwa-Edward…” I giggled, “Stop!” my voice screeched. I probably sounded like an excited Alice, but I didn’t care, I needed him to stop so I could breathe.

“No…I don’t think I will,” he whispered, tickling my ear with his breath, making me shiver. His hands traveled down to my hips, tickling me everywhere he touched.

“Pluh-Please…” I threw my head back, trying to find some form of air that would go into my mouth. I ended up screaming, finally freeing my hands from where he pinned them down and pushing against him with as much force as possible, knowing that no matter how hard I tried I wouldn’t be able to move him off of me. After another try at pleading at his talented tickling fingers, and then once more he stopped.

“Thank God!!” I panted, trying to catch my breath. He laughed and laughed, watching me with a glint in his eye. I loved to see him like this, not tense, playful. I like playful Edward. He acted his age. I rolled my eyes at him, trying not to laugh along. I watched him as he sat back, and then scooted off the bed, holding his hand out for me to take. I took it willingly, quickly hugging his torso, folding my body around his. “Mmm…” I hummed, completely content with him holding me.

I then realized what I was wearing: a T-shirt and boy shorts. Blush crept up my neck and onto my face as I narrowed my eyes at him. He chuckled and lifted his hands from my waist, quickly holding them up in an innocent, ‘I didn’t have anything to do with it’ way.

“Alice changed you when we got home I swear!” His grin said he had something to do with it either way. I rolled my eyes and stepped away from him, heading towards the bathroom and purposefully giving him something to look at. I could almost feel him smiling behind me.

He wasn’t in the room when I got done with my morning routine. He must be downstairs with everyone, I thought. I smiled when I spotted my suitcase across the room, thinking I would actually be able to dress myself today. My hope was quickly squashed when I saw that Alice had laid out more clothes for me on Edward’s bed. This time it was a black skirt that flowed down to just above my knees and a pale green tank top with a white cardigan sweater. I groaned and sighed. I knew not to fight Alice, but I didn’t like wearing skirts. I would have gone down to fight her, but then I really didn’t want to make a scene in front of Edward’s extended family. I sighed again, but got dressed, put my hair in a messy bun and went downstairs to where there was talking.
