a little backstory to this imagine! so you're the youngest member of the taylor fam and you're really close to all of your siblings, but especially brennen. you're 19, meaning that you're a year younger than jessica. he started bringing you over to hang out with his friends which soon sparked a relationship with colby. okay, now on to the story :-)

y/n's pov

i was currently at home (i live with brennen at the moment) getting some chores around the house done since brennen never did them. i didn't mind though as he was letting me stay at his place for the time being. i had plans to meet up with brennen and the boys (colby, sam, elton, and corey) later to grab dinner which meant that i still had about three and a half hours until brennen came by to pick me up. i finished up cleaning the last bit of my room and then hopped in the shower, getting ready before brennen came home.

colby's pov

"hey guys! so for today's video, im going to be pranking my lovely girlfriend, y/n. this prank was so highly requested that i had to film this eventually. so basically, i have sam in on this, but im going to be pulling the cheating prank on both brennen and y/n! they are going to catch me in bed with sam's girlfriend, katrina! so as you guys all know, katrina and y/n are best friends and it's just not going to end up well. anyway, me, brennen, y/n, kat and sam are supposed to be grabbing dinner in about 3 hours, so im going to have brennen and y/n come meet us at the house and have them and sam walk in on me and kat in bed. this is going to be one hell of a prank because brennen is super overprotective over y/n so we gotta end it pretty quickly or else someone might actually get hurt. i apologize to y/n and brennen in advance, but here we go" i said turning off the camera. i sighed, "i hope brennen doesn't punch me". i got up off my chair and walked out of my room, knocking on sam's door across the hall. "door's open" i heard from inside the room. i opened the door and walked into sam's room. "hey colby" they both said as i made my way over to sam's bed, sitting down. "so what's the plan for the prank?" sam asked. "okay so i already filmed the intro to the video and explained the whole prank, but basically, sam you're going to be downstairs when both y/n and brennen get here and you can send her up here. when she walks in hopefully she'll see the hickey. kat, you'll be hiding in the closet and you'll make a noise after y/n sees the hickey. hopefully she'll call brennen and sam up here as well, but if not, sam find a way to get brennen up here and then we'll just let things happen" i explained. they both nodded and we waited until it was time to get ready.

*time skip to when they're setting up for the prank*

brennen and y/n were going to be here in about 30 minutes so kat and i decided to "prep" for the prank. "okay let's go over it again. im going to be in the closet, and then i'll make a noise when they get here?" kat asks as i try and move things in my closet to make room for her to hide. "yeah, do you know if devyn and corey are home?" i ask looking over at her. "yeah i think devyn's here, why?" she asks. "fake hickey" i said, grinning, making my way over to devyn and corey's room. knock knock. "come in" i heard a voice come from inside their room. "hey devyn? it's colby" i said opening and closing the door behind me. "hey what's up colby" she replies. she's sitting on their bed, but gets up when i walk into the middle of the room. "so i'm doing a cheating prank on y/n and brennen and was wondering if you could make me a fake hickey?" i asked as she smiled. "you've come to the right place" she replied walking over to grab her makeup bag. after about 10 mins, i had 2 hickeys on my neck. "wow they look so real, thanks devyn!" i said looking at them in the mirror. "the magic of makeup" she said smiling. "okay, good luck, i have to go meet corey soon" she says cleaning up her bag. "okay, thanks again!" i said walking over to the door. "no problem" i hear her reply as i walk out of their room. i then get a text from y/n saying that they'll be here in 15 mins. i walk over to sam's room, knocking before i open the door. "kat are you ready? they'll be here in 15 mins" i ask peeking into the room. "yeah, let's do this" she replies getting up from sam's bed. she walks over to sam, kisses his cheek. "sorry babe, im leaving you for colby" she says while winking at him. he fake pouts as kat and i walk over to my room. "okay let the prank begin" i say as kat goes into the closet.

y/n's pov

i finished getting ready and was waiting for brennen to come home. "y/n! your favorite brother is home" someone yells from the front door. "you're not my favorite brennen" i yell back as i walk out to the living room. "gasp, how dare you y/n" i hear brennen say while placing his hand on his chest. "im kidding, hello brotherin" i say while running up to greet kobe. "and hello my little baby" i say while playing with kobe. "hello young sisterin, are you ready to go?" brennen asks sitting grabbing a jacket off the chair in the dining room. "yup, let's go" i say, kissing kobe and then grabbing my purse. we hopped into brennen's truck and were off to the boys house. i then texted colby, "be there in 15 minutes babe, see you soon". after about 15 minutes, we were at the house. i hopped out of the car, and knocked on the door. sam had answered the door and let us in. "hey sam! where's colby?" i ask, giving him a hug. "upstairs in his room i think" he said greeting brennen. i nod while heading upstairs. i knock on colby's room and hear shuffling from inside. "hold on, give me a second" i hear colby say. after about 30 seconds, i hear him open the door. "hey baby" he says, embracing me in a hug. "hey colbs" i reply. i walk in and sit on his bed as he finishes getting ready. "why are you so out of breath?" i ask as he paces around his room. "oh, i was doing a small workout. you know push ups and what not" he replies, digging through the pile of clothes that were sitting on his desk. i look up at him and my eyes land on something on his neck. "babe, what's that?" i ask, furrowing my eyebrows. "what's what?" he asks, throwing a shirt on. "that" i say, standing up and pointing at the mark on his neck that looked like a hickey. "is that a hickey?" i ask, tears starting to well up in my eyes. "no babe, i just, i uh accidentally hit myself with a dumbbell earlier" he replies placing his hand over the mark. "no colby" i said, yanking his hand away, "that's a fucking hickey" i said. "a fucking hickey that i did not give to you" i spat out, tears falling down my face. "how fucking dare you" i said a little louder, punching him in the arm. "we fought for our relationship, but you go and cheat on me?" i was yelling at this point and heard footsteps coming up the stairs. "you were everything to me colby. was i not enough for you?" "baby, no. please listen to m-" the door opened and brennen and sam walked into the room. "what's going on?" brennen asked, a mixture of confusion and worry running through his face. colby tries to put his hand over the hickey, but i yank his hand away. "apparently my boyfriend was too busy with one of his side chicks and forgot that he had a girlfriend right here" i spat at him. i was sobbing at this point and don't know how i was getting words out. brennen was about to say something when i heard something falling in the closet. i guess we all heard it because everyone directed their attention to the closet. colby's eyes widened, but before he could do or say anything, i walked over and yanked the door open. "katrina??" i yelled. "what the fuck. my boyfriend and my best friend" i yelled as i turned around and slapped colby across the face. the look of hurt across sam's face broke me even more as i pushed past colby. brennen was furious at this point. "what the fuck colby?" i hear brennen yell at colby. "katrina how could you?" sam asks as he looks at her and colby. "colby we're done" i say as i run out the door, running down the stairs. "y/n wait-" i hear colby say, but brennen holds him back. "don't you fucking dare" brennen yells. after a moment of silence, i hear katrina and sam yelling for brennen to get off of colby. i run back upstairs, only to see that brennen had colby in a headlock. "brennen, stop it's not worth it" i say trying to peel him off of colby. "wait" i hear colby say after brennen lets go. "there's one more thing y/n" colby says while coughing. "what more do you have to say to me colby" i say, my heart shattering, looking at him. "welcome to the prank wars" he says, smiling. i am stunned as katrina and sam join him in smiling. i look over at brennen who still looked pissed but a look of relief ran over his face. "baby, i'm sorry, i would never cheat on you" colby says, pulling me in for a hug. tears streamed down my face as i hugged him back. "don't you ever fucking do that" i reply as i grip onto his waist. "colby, i almost killed you" i heard brennen say from behind me. "i know, im sorry bro" colby replies, doing his handshake with brennen, not letting go of me. i let go of him and turned around looking at kat and sam. "were you guys in this too?" i ask. they both nod as i hugged kat. "i'm so sorry y/n" kat says slightly laughing. "you guys got us so good" i said hugging sam and then walking over to colby, him wrapping his arms around my waist from behind. "well, we'll let you get ready and we'll meet you downstairs" brennen says as him, sam, and kat left the room, leaving me and colby alone. as soon as they left, i turned around to look at colby. "please don't ever do that to me again" i say as i look up at him. "no promises" colby says while smiling. i felt his grip around my waist tighten as his lips locked with mine. he pulled away as he placed his hand on my face, rubbing his thumb across my cheek. "but the one thing i can promise is that my heart belongs to you, okay?" he says. i nod as he pulls me in for a hug, wrapping his arms around my waist. "i love you y/n y/m/n taylor" he said into the crook my neck. "and i love you cole robert brock" i said tightening my grip around him, never wanting to let him go.
