Parties????

"I'm not going."

"Oh, yes you are."

Reconstruction is done in the city, everybody is healing after the war, there's a big party going on, and when these two doggos should be out enjoying the night, they're arguing about doing that. 

He'd made it pretty clear he wasn't going by locking himself in the bathroom, but even that's wasn't enough to stop Gadget. He just wants Finn to actually have fun. Not hide away!  

"I'm not budging."

"Fine, I'll break the door down."

"Then you won't have a door."

"Then I'll buy another one."

"Nobody's even manufacturing doors yet! We've just finished reconstruction!"

"Then I'll make one."

Finn wins the battle, they lose a door, and they wind up settling for just watching the live coverage on TV. 

When Finn falls asleep, Gadget realizes he wants to sneak out and go to the party while it's still going on, but Finn has issues. He can't just wake up and find out he's alone. He'll flip.

Sonic calls somewhere about midnight, asking Gadget why he never showed up. In the middle of the call, Finn growls and reaches up, turning Gadget's phone off and ending the call. 

A text pops up from Sonic a moment later, "I didn't know he was sleeping."

{He's why I wasn't at the party. He didn't want to go, so we just stayed home and watched it on TV}

{Heh, did you see me?}

{Multiple times. I didn't know you could dance.}

{Yeah you did. Just not that well}

{Kind of hard to dance when you're breathing in smoke and fumes, huh?}

{Yup.} another message... {but you didn't read that from me.}

{Okay, I didn't. But Finn did.}
