You led the Mario Bros. into your kitchen and over to the kitchen sink.
"My sink appears to be clogged," you explained to them,
"It takes ages for water to go down the drain."
"Ah, no problem!" Mario chirped.
"This will-a be easy-peasy for us!" He added.
Luigi quietly nodded in agreement.
"We'll be sure to inform you when we're done," Luigi stated.
"Great!" you exclaimed,
"I'll just be in the Living Room. Thanks a bunch, guys!"
"No problem!" The Bros. chimed in unison.
You headed back into the Living Room and resumed your Mario Kart 8 Deluxe gameplay.
You had a go at the Time Trials mode for a few minutes and then took on a Grand Prix. On the final race of the Grand Prix, you groaned in frustration as a Blue Shell took you out of First Place on the Final lap.
Much to your dismay, you ended up in 7th place.
You got up from the sofa and flung the Pro Controller onto it.
Just then, you heard the Mario Bros. call for you. You dashed back into the kitchen.
"We managed to unclog the-a sink," Mario stated.
"Oh, but just to avoid it from happening again; perhaps occasionally use baking soda and vinegar. Even though I'd prefer if you called us again so we can make more money.." The older Mario Brother joked.
"Mario!" Luigi exclaimed.
"I was just-a kidding!" Mario laughed.
You chuckled at this.
"Again, thanks guys! I will definitely call you again!" You thanked them, leading them to the front door and opening it.
"No problem!" They chimed (Again! Most be becoming repetitive XD)
"See ya!" Mario said,
"Bye Mario!" You replied as he left through the door, heading over to their van.
____
"Um, j-just one question," a green-clad plumber spoke from behind you.
You turned to face him.
"This might be a bit random, but.." he added, shyly.
"W-what is y-your n-name?"
"Oh, my name is (Y/N)."
"(Y/N)? That's a n-nice name." Luigi complimented your name.
"Aw thanks!"
"No problem!"
"WEEGIE!" His older brother yelled from outside,
"What's the-a hold up?"
You could notice that Luigi was blushing a bit.
"N-nothing!" he called.
He looked back at you.
"I-I'll have to go now. I hope to see you sometime again soon, though. Bye!"
He flashed a nervous smile at you.
"See you, Luigi!" you chirped.
Luigi waved at you and then headed out of the house.
