(Three weeks later)

It was a rainy afternoon. You were on a bus home from town after shopping for 2 hours. You leaned over in your bus chair and smiled into the paper bag at your fresh copy of Super Mario Odyssey and your awesome, new (F/C) headphones.

Boy! I just can't wait to home! You thought, excitedly.

It had reached the point in the bus ride where you were about five minutes from your house. You were casually flipping through the apps on your phone when it started vibrating.

Huh? How come they're calling me? You thought, really confused.

You answered the call.

"H-hello?" You began.

"H-hi, (Y/N)," you heard Luigi reply.

"Oh hey Luigi!" you exclaimed.

"H-how have you been?" he asked you.

"I've been great! Just on the way home from town. I got Odyssey and these cool (F/C) headphones!"

"Sounds great! Hope you have fun!" Luigi chirped.

"Aw thanks!" you reply.

You decide to ask why you were called.

"Um, Luigi. How come you're calling me?" You asked.

You were hoping you didn't come of as rude.

He went silent for a few seconds.

"Well, (Y/N)..." he began.

"I-I don't know if I should tell you this.."

Tell me what? You wondered.

"Go ahead," you replied, warmly.

"(Y-Y/N)... I..."

"I have a..."

"C-crush.. on you.."

There.

He said it.

"Y-you do?!" you squeaked.

"I-I'm so sorry!" he apologised, seemingly fearfully.

You giggled.

"There is no need be sorry, Luigi! I-I feel the same way about you."

"You do?!" Luigi (also) squeaked.

"Yes! You're so adorable!" you exclaimed.

"T-thanks (Y/N)! S-so.. will you be... my... g-girlfriend?"

You couldn't believe he was asking this!!

"YES!" you exclaimed happily.
