"Louis..." Harry says breathlessly
"Harry? What are you doing here" I say looking back to check for Mark
"I came to apologi-" Harry begins but is interrupted by Mark
"Louis I told you to get ou-" Mark says stopping when he sees Harry
"Ahh so you called your little boyfriend?" Mark slurs stepping closer
"I didn't call him he just showed up" I say through gritted teeth
"Fuck you Louis why are you still here?" Mark says
"I was just about to leave" I say trying to step out of the house
Just then Harry speaks up
"And why should he leave?" Harry says stepping in front of me
"Because I don't fucking want him here plus he's gay" Mark says shrugging
"So? What the fuck does that have to do with anything?!" Harry says raising his voice
"It'll just make his life even more miserable!! And I don't want to deal with that shit!!" Mark says pointing at me
"Just cause you don't want to deal with it doesn't mean you're not gonna have to!! Because Louis is still your step-son gay or not!! And you have a job as his step-dad to protect and shelter him!!! So fucking do your job!!" Harry yells at Mark
"And who the fuck do you think you are telling me what to do?!" Mark says
"I'm Harry Louis's friend and you're Mark Louis's step-dad, so fucking act like it" Harry snaps at him
He grabs my arm and takes me outside closing the door behind him.
"You all right?" Harry asks hugging me
"Better now" I say loving his embrace
"I'm sorry for kissing you" I say
"Don't apologize that means you regret it" Harry says as he kisses my hair
"I'm sorry for what I did" Harry whispers into my hair
"You didn't do anything wrong you have the right to kiss anyone you want to" I say choking back tears
"Not when my heart belongs to you" he says pulling away to look at me
"W-what?" I say looking up at him
He just chuckles and leans in. His lips hover over mine as he says "You heard me"
He closes the gap between our lips and goosebumps run up my spine. The kiss is innocent and loving, unlike our last kiss that was urgent and fast.
We slowly moved our lips against each other. Harry wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me impossibly closer. My hand went up to his hair and pulled on the bottom hairs.
Harry pulls away and leans his forehead against mine.
"You don't know how much I wanted to do that when I met you" Harry says smiling his dimples poking out
"Not as much as I did" I respond poking one of his dimples
"Cmon you can stay at mine tonight" Harry says grabbing my hand leading me to his car
"Oh sorry about that" I say following him
"you didn't do anything wrong" Harry says tightening his grip on my hand
We get into his car and drive to his house holding hands the whole time.
Harry gets out of the car quickly and opens the car door for me. I smile at him and he blushes. He takes my hand and we walk to the front door.
He grabs the keys out of his pocket and opens the door.
"Hey Mom I'm home!!" Harry yells
Anne walks out of the kitchen
"Ohh Harry you're back already? Ahh hello dear" Anne says when she sees me
"Hey" I respond smiling at her
"Ya um is it okay if Louis stays the night he's having some issues at home" Harry says
"Of course he can stay as long as he needs" Anne says smiling at me
"Are you boys hungry? I can make something for you?" Anne asks looking back into the kitchen
"Nah we're alright. We're gonna go to sleep already we're tired from the party" Harry says looking at me
"Alright sweet dreams" Anne says walking back into the kitchen
Harry grabs my hand again and leads me up to his bedroom. I sit on the bed as Harry searches through his dresser.
"You wanna change?" Harry asks pulling out sweatpants for himself
"Ya just some sweatpants would be good" I say looking around his room
"Alright, no shirt?" Harry asks handing me some sweatpants
"No I don't like sleeping with a shirt on" I say feeling myself blush
"Neither do I" Harry says as he pulls off his shirt
I stare wide eyed at what I see. Not that I haven't seen it before but just wow
"Like what you see?" Harry chuckles pulling down his pants
I blush and look away
"You can look now" Harry says
I turn back around and Harry smiles at me.
"Time for you to change" Harry says walking out of the room
I quickly change and open the door to let Harry back in
Harry stares at my chest making me feel self conscious. I begin to cover my chest with my arms
"Don't, you look beautiful" Harry says pulling my arms from my chest
Harry gets into bed and stares up at me he motions for me to get in
I do as he instructs as soon as I do Harry cuddles me and peppers my face with kisses. I giggle
"You're so beautiful you know that?" Harry asks kissing my forehead
"I know" I say jokingly
He chuckles and kisses me. I don't think I'll ever get used to the feeling of this. He pulls away and kisses my nose
"Let's go to sleep" he says pulling me closer
We fall asleep like that me facing his chest, Harry's arms wrapped around me. My head resting in the crook of Harry's neck
For once I feel at peace. Everything about me being in Harry's arm feels right. I won't let this feeling get away from me
