Kaleigh’s Point Of View
I woke up the next morning to a wet tongue licking my face, now I know Brantley was an aggravator but was this really necessary?
“I swear to god your ass is going to be dead for licking me if you do it again.” I growled and shoved my face deeper into the pillow. I had a killer headache and just wanted to sleep more.
“It’s not me,” Brantley chuckled deeply from what sounded like the foot of the bed as my face was licked again.
“Then what is it?” I replied starting to panic as I sat up suddenly and looked around.
To my left I saw the most adorable puppy ever, he sat on Brantley’s side of the bed with his head cocked to the side looking at me and blinked before once again diving on my lap and licking me.
“Awww, where did he come from?” I smiled and looked up at Brantley as I began petting the puppy.
“Meet Sylo, he’s my new buddy.” He smirked as He climbed onto the bed with me and laid down and pet Sylo’s head.
“He’s adorable, I take it he’s ours?” I asked as I leaned over and laid my head on Brantley’s shoulder.
