You took the quickest flight home. Everyone noticed you on TV so everywhere you went you were asked to put on a show with your powers. You declined each opportunity, because all you could think about was the mistake.
A few tears dripped down your flailing cheek but you wiped them away twice as fast. You smashed open the door to the Avengers Tower.
Not bothering to say hello to any of the boys, you raged to your room. You reached for your phone, 24 missed calls and 45 messages from Natasha showed up. Swiping away the notifications, you plugged in your blue earphones and listened to about 10 minutes of depressing songs.
"Knock, knock!" You heard an Asgardian voice over your favourite song. You groaned as you opened the door with a creak.
"Thor, not the right time." You mumbled. He pouted and stormed in and sat on your bed without permission. He tapped the spot next to him as you huffed, slumped next to him and cried.
"Whats up, no hi's or hellos? How was your mission?" You looked up with wet eyes.
"Does it look like it went well?" You snapped.
"Woah, Burnie, calm it." He replied akwardly. He put a giant palm on your shoulder. You did admit it, Thor was like a brother to you, but this was unlike him.
You squirmed out of the grip and lied down on your bed, Thor at the end. "Are you going to tell me what happened, lady Y/N?" You sat up again for no random reason and just let everything go, ranting, cursing and letting your self esteem run down to 1%.
Thor broke eye contact with you and set his jaw. Then hugged you. You cried into his chest.
You broke away first as you remembered T'Challa. Thor looked like he was examining you and you took a step back. "Thor?" You questioned. He looked to your eyes and started to twitch and sweat.
"Just wanted to tell you, you have a pretty necklace, the way that green eye sparkles like your own." He gulped.
Your eyes widened like the size of sauce pans as you took the necklaces head and stared at it. The Black Panther. You thought. Though the necklace was silver, it did remind you of T'Challa's helmet. Thor had then escaped out the door and left it open.
"I gotta get back!" You breathed aloud. You repeated this over and over as you got ready and left the building, once again, ignoring the gang of boys.
The necklaces green glow grew brighter as you got to the air port.
