T'Challa got up and walked over to in front of your chair and held out a hand to you.
You took it, once again, taking in his soft touch. Your face brightened. "Such a gentlemen, King T'Challa." You said while doing a mini curtsy. He puffed a laugh.
"Please, this isnt England, in Wakanda, we do not curtsy, we salute." He chuckled with a lopsided smile. Then, you remembered the special salute you seen all the bald women doing. You copied the memory as T'Challa clapped.
"There we go." He copied your action. "Wakanda forever." He added.
"Wakanda forever.." You repeated.
He twirled you around and unexpectedly started jokingly slow dancing. This was bizarre. Your sides jolted as T'Challa noticed. He raised an eyebrow. "Something that just happens naturally if im happy, excited or nervous, dont worry im not Frankenstein." You joked.
"Ahh, so which of them are you feeling now?" He challenged. You blushed unknowingly and replied with "All of them."
"Why are you nervous, Y/N?" T'Challa asked. The blood in your body rushed around you like a crazy rollercoaster. You shook your head as you threw the question away. T'Challa got the point and looked to your necklace. Which was now normal.
You took the necklace off and put in in your hand, T'Challa coming over to investigate with you. The chain dangled from your hand as you ran a finger around the shape of the big cat.
"That. That necklace, its my fathers, isnt it." Your jaw dropped as he took it off you and put it in the window light.
"I have no idea. My mum gave it to me before she-" T'Challa looked across and down to you because of your height and saw your face as you hesitated. He bit his lip and nodded.
"I see. My father had left the necklace. The necklace glows green when the person wearing it is upset or feeling anything negative." He explained.
The knot in your brain undone as you felt the puzzle piece come together. He put it back on for you and saluted. You did the same, mainly for the memory of the Black Panthers dad.
"I think you and your powers can create a magical performance for the people of Wakanda, dont you think?" He said, changing the whole subject.
"Sounds good!" You decided quickly.
"Tonight, when dusk falls." He stated. You made an ok sign with your hand as you finally left, feeling like you were on cloud nine.
