They ran towards the village, the little Bren following behind. She gasped as she saw the villagers fighting off the evil."We need to find Bren-"
"That won't be necessary." Dallon scoffed as he pointed towards a direction. She looked over and her heart sank to her stomach. Brendon was looking down the ground, his father, Leithon, besides him.
"He... he's one of them?" she breathed out, looking over to Bren. He whimpered and she darted over to Brendon, her eyes glowing white. Brendon looked at her and guilt washed over him.
"I trusted you!" she shouted, running towards Brendon. She grabbed the nearest bow and arrow and aimed it at Brendon.
Dallon fought Ryan (for brendon obvs😂 bitch ryden all the way) with Aurora by his side as Spencer fought Jon.
"I trusted you with my village! My faith was in you! Heavens, I was starting to fall for you." she growled, pulling the arrow. Brendon's breathing hitches as he fell on the ground, "I'm sorry. I didn't know-"
"Were you the one that killed my parents?" she gasped as Brendon slowly nodded.
Tears begin to blur her vision as she gripped on the arrow. "Steady..." she breathed out.
Brendon bowed his head, tears falling down his eyes.
"Focus..."
"And let go!" she shouted and shot General Leithon by the heart. Brendon shot up, catching his father in his arms.
"F-father?" he croaked out. His father chuckled weakly, "Domain have mercy on her and may he bless you."
Brendon looked at her, anger flaming in his chocolate browns. His eyes glowed black as hers glowed white.
"You killed him!"
"You killed innocent people!" she shouted back, firing her arrows at him.
He dodged every arrow, his full formation showing.
"I loved you," she whispered that caught Brendon off guard. He formed a small fireball in his hand.
"I wanted you to be with me until I fix my village and regain my strength," she growled, looking at Brendon. Her eyes glowed to a scary color of white and she lifted her bow again. "But I was a fool to trust you and your friends."
She pulled the arrow back and aimed for Brendon's heart.
Brendon's hand was forming with fireballs and his fangs started to grow.
"For Celestia!"
"Hail Lord Domain!"
They both shouted at the same time as she lets go of the arrow and Brendon lunged towards her. Brendon swiftly dodged the arrow and tackled her to the dirt, he lifted his hand.
Her eyes widens and Brendon saw the fear within it.
"Y/n!" Dallon shouted as he pushed Ryan back, sending down Aurora.
The shiny-scraped dragon flew down and threw Brendon aside using it's head. It roared, signalling for her to climb on top, which she did.
Aurora flew up and Brendon gained his strength again. Dallon looked up and twisted his hand, Aurora screeched and flew away.
"No! Aurora! Take me back!" she pleaded, patting Aurora on the back.
"Please!" she said as they disappeared into the clouds.
--
Dallon kicked the chain to his feet as Spencer healed the wound in his arm. "I hope the princess is safe," Spencer said.
Dallon looked at him, "she is, I sent her away with Aurora to protect her." Dallon sighed.
-
"General." a troop saluted and Brendon nodded. The troops pushed in a hell hound and Brendon examined it.
"This hound was found not far away from base." another troop said. Brendon gestured for it to come to him, but the hound only growled.
It was chocolate fur.
"this puppy has your eye color." her voice rang into his mind. His breathing hitches and he looked at Ryan.
"Leave." he ordered the troops. Once they did, Brendon slowly made his way towards the hound.
"hey, hey. It's me." he cooed, kneeling in front of the growling hell hound.
"not all hell hounds are bad. I had one when I was six" her voice rang again. The pup slowly made its' way towards Brendon.
It rested it's head on his lap as Brendon rubbed it's head. "You two got this pup, didn't you?" Ryan asked. Brendon sighed, "I wonder where the princess is."
"Probably somewhere hating on you," Jon laughed. Brendon rolled his eyes and smiled softly at the hell hound.
"But for now, I'll call you. . ."
"Bren,"
"N/n."
-
She fluttered her eyes open as she adjusted to the light around her. She groaned and sat up, feeling something soft underneath her.
"princess! you're awake." a voice said. Something land besides her and she looked down.
Light fairies.
"y-yes, I am," she replied, looking around. "Where's Aurora?"
A loud roar was heard from above and she looled up, seeing Aurora flying above them.
"I..." she sat up, propping her elbows to support her upper body. "I need to go back, my village is-"
"Damaged" a little fairy said. She frowned, "I shouldn't have trusted Brendon." she mumbled.
