She stepped up the long and spiral stairs. It was white and was leading upwards but to where?"do you believe in the after life?" Brendon asked, turning his head to the girl sitting besides him. They were at Brendon's house, watching Netflix and mostly talking.
she looked at Brendon, "well, yeah. It's really interesting" she said. "they say when you go to your after life, you won't remember a thing. You won't remember your friends, your family, even your love. No one" she added.
Brendon smiled and kissed her forehead. "nah, I wouldn't forget you"
she continued to climbed up the stairs and there was a blinding light at the last step. Using her arm to shield her eyes, she heard a door open. The creak was loud and long.
Brendon knelt on one knee and held out a small red box, "will you marry me?"
"yes! a million times yes!" she cried out in happiness. Brendon slid the ring on and stood up, she instantly tackled him into a hug.
Tears of joy were running down both of their faces.
she stepped inside the door and was greeted by a great hall. There were people in it, they all had long white robes and dresses. She walked quietly.
"w-where is he?" she cried as she held the phone up to her ear. On the other line, Brendon's mother was sobbing.
"he- I'm sorry" his mother said and her heart sunk into her stomach.
she looked around, not familiar with her surroundings nor the people in it. "where am I?" she asked herself.
Yet, there was one person in her mind. The only person she could think of right now. Brendon.
"Brendon!" she shouted as Dallon held her back. He hugged her and cooed her down as Brendon's casket slowly brought down to the ground.
"please! n-no" she cried, burying her face into Dallon's suit.
She continued on walking until she spotted a boy. He looked familiar.
"I love you so much" she whispered as she finally lets go of the white rose in her hand down to the casket. The rose fell down along with her heart.
she focused on the boy and her whole world stopped as the boy pointed at her. He smiled, the same smile that she used to love everyday.
"B-brendon?"
Brendon walked towards her, "I've been waiting for you" he said. She smiled, feeling her heart beating loudly against her chest.
Brendon grabbed her hands and looked at her directly in the eyes, "I could never forget about you, Y/n. I love you so much" he said. She didn't say anything, she just threw her arms around him and hugged him tightly.
"Please don't leave me again"
she looked at the boy in front of her as he took her veil off. He had ghost trails of tears in his cheeks. Brendon smiled and cupped her cheeks, "I love you forever, Y/n M/n Urie"
Brendon let out a happy sigh and hugged her back. Kissing her head, "I won't"
"I love you too, Brendon Boyd Urie"
