"Patrick?" her soft voice snapped him from all of his thoughts. Patrick turned to her side, a small smile dancing on his lips. She was laying on the hospital bed, a nasal cannula inserted to her nose and a dextrose attached to her hand.

"Yes, Y/n?" The older boy hummed. She smiled, her faded lips spreading out and her eyes sparkling with hope. "Could you visit me tomorrow?" her silk-like voice rang through his ear in a way that sent his heart to speed up. "Of course, you know I always do" he smiled, putting his hand on top of hers.

A small tint of red grew on her cheeks and she quickly turned away. "Thank you, 'Trick"

Patrick chuckled, "anything for you"

"You really need to stop texting your girlfriend and focus on our album" Pete smirked, nudging Patrick's ribs. Patrick yelped and quickly puts his phone down with a blush on his cheeks. "S-she's not m-my girlf-friend!"

"And the Pope isn't Catholic" Joe said, taking a sip from his soda. Patrick sighed, burying his flustered face in his hands. "Come on, man. You need to tell her how you feel" Andy encouraged, patting Patrick's back.

"I-i can't-" "Dude, it's not like you're gonna lose her. It's obvious she likes you back" Pete said and Patrick froze. He looked at Pete and gulped, "W-what?"

Joe laughed, "Oh God, you two are so oblivious!" "What do you mean she-" a sudden realization hits Patrick and his cheeks heats up again. "She likes me? R-really? Oh- Holy smokes" Patrick chuckled, smiling widely. Pete looks at his watch and shoots a smile to him.

"The hospital closes with 20 minutes and you better hur-" "See you guys later!" Patrick shouted as he ran outside the room, leaving the three boys. "Ah, love. It makes you crazy, huh?"

Andy nodded, "He needs her more than she needs him" Andy smiles. "That obvious, huh? I'm surprised they haven't even noticed" Pete sighed, smiling.

"Patrick? The visiting times are almo-" "I need to tell you something" he blushed, sitting next to her. She turned to him and the sight of her (e/c) eyes left him breathless.

"There's-- uh-- y-you know, errrrr, you-" Patrick stuttered, mentally cringing and scowling himself. Y/n placed a hand over his and smiled, "Hey, calm down. Take your time"

Patrick breathed in deeply and looked at her, "I- Y/n, you're-- well, you-" Patrick bit his lower lip.

"Yes, Patrick?"

"You're gorgeous"

She blushed, smiling at Patrick. "You're gorgeous, too"

"And I- I love you"

She blushed even more and looked away, turning her attention to the heart monitor that were speeding up in a crazy rate. "And I think that you and I should be together"

Her heartbeat increased more. She looked back at Patrick and she felt a soft pair of lips against hers.

Pete, Joe, and Andy turned their attention to the door as it opened, seeing Patrick smiling.

"How'd it go-?" "She's awesome" Patrick smiled, looking at the polaroid in his hand.

"Oh, she said yes?" Pete smirked. Patrick blushed and Joe snickered, nudging Andy. "We're taking that as a yes, as well"

hello! i miss everyone and everything oh my loooooord. this is just a little something for y'all because i'm finally done with the first semester of my school and guess what?

i got in the top! well, i have an academic award to be specific and it made me feel really reallyyyy great about myself. all the hard work has paid off but there's still more to come!
