I slammed the car door shut, and tightened my backpack.
"Wow." I muttered gazing at the tall building slightly lit by the hotel sign, reading Chicago South Loop motel.
"Its pretty dark for 7." Meadow said following behind me.
"Yeah." I ignored her.
She walked inside.
I stared up at the stars, getting to caught up to know that everyone was gone.
Slowly moving closer to the exit I started hearing faint footsteps get closer to me but ignored them.
I was knocked on the floor and all my things went flying across the pavement, including my note book, which flew open, a few of my photos aswell.
"Shit!" I heard a youthful voice say.
I turned and saw a boy, no older than I was perhaps.
"I'm so sorry!" He crouched over, "I swear i didn't mean to knock you over-I really didn't see you I swear, I'm just la-"
"Hey, hey it's okay, really. Don't worry about it." I said getting up off of my semi-scraped knees.
He began picking my things up, and moving them into a pile.
My palms got sweaty and a pit formed in my stomach.
My notebook was in public view.
I tried to casually scurry over to it before he go there but I was too late.
"Hey these drawings...they are amazing."
"Did you draw these?" He asked.
"Uhm..thanks." I said nervously rubbing my hands together.
"Wow and these pictures." He said putting the notebook down.
"These are amazing..your really talented." He said shuffling through a few.
He looked up at me and smiled, I never melted like this when I saw somebody.
"Yeah I don't, uh-usually share those." I said.
He gathered the rest of my things and put them in my bag.
He stood up in front of me, and I realized how...damn cute he was.
"Well you should." He said smiling.
His tall, lean figure wore dark jeans, worn converse, and a light blue striped shirt.
Even in the dim light, I could see his caramel skin glowing, and the twinkle that danced in his breathtaking sea blue eyes.
His nose was directly in the center of his face and it curved upward slightly.
His hair was full and a bit messy.
I couldn't tell exactly what color it was in the dim light but I think it was a dirty blonde.
He handed me, my bag and I blushed, putting it back over my shoulder.
I opened the bag and scanned through it.
Wheres the picture of mom-
Where-is it.
"Wait-wheres my picture-"
"Oh is it a picture of your mother or-" I cut him off.
"Yeah yeah, its not in here."
His facial expression turned to horror and guilt.
"I thought I picked it up?" He said as he started looking around.
He walked a few feet away and stopped.
"Did you find it?" I asked trotting over to him.
He picked it up from the concrete and took the big pieces of shattered glass off of the frame.
"fuck." I said letting out a huff.
"I'm so sorry, I feel horrible." He said.
"Its-its okay, its just the frame." i said holding back the slightest amount of tears.
"I'll buy you a knew one tomorrow..you're in the movie right?" He said with guilt on his face.
"Yeah-yeah I am but you don't have too." I said, sliding the picture out of the frame and stuffing it in my bag.
He sighed, "I'm sorry."
"It's okay! Truly it was my fault too, I was staring up at the stars, of course not paying attention." I said.
"Oh me too." He said as He glanced at them.
There was a brief moment of silence.
He looked down at his watch, "Crap I gotta go."
"It was nice meeting you..I never got your name?" He said.
"Oh-uh Bluebell, Bluebell Louis." I said blushing.
"I'm River." He said holding out his hand.
I took it.
We departed and River started jogging across the street somewhere into the night.
"See ya around Blue!" He yelled as his voice faded.
I smiled and laughed at myself, then gathered up my things and walked inside.
I went to the front desk and signed in.
They gave me a card with the number, 238 on it.
I went up to the second level and located the room.
I creaked open the door, and saw Meadow sitting on the left bed.

"Where the hell were you!" She said slamming her phone down on her bed.

"Oh I was outside, I met someone from the cast." I said trying to avoid the conversation she started.

"Oh was it a b-" She said trying to hide her smirk.

She paused.

"I'm going to bed." She said.

Wow she pulled through.

She wasn't gonna nag on me about the possibility of River.

I set my things down, huh River.

I wonder where that name came from.

I quickly changed into more comfortable clothes, and slipped into bed.

River, that name just refused to leave my thoughts alone.

His face was burned into my memory, and his voice was still ringing obnoxiously in my ears.

I didn't mind it though.

Who wouldn't.

I replayed our conversation, and the butterflies grew bigger and bigger in my stomach.

What the hell is wrong with me, hes just a guy.

I mean I had crushes before but-but this one was different.

I just couldn't put my finger on it.

I leaned over my bed and turned the lamp off.

I snuggled into bed and remembered River.

This is gonna be a long four months.

I love this chapter sm! my favorite one so far, I got butterflies writing it.
