•Chapter 4•

I think I fell asleep because by the time I open my eyes, Tom is no where to be seen. Checking my messages, I notice one from Tom stating:

"Sorry I left so early =.= you were out like a flame around the 4th movie so I decided to let you sleep. You were so peaceful,, dreaming of me huh? Hahaha joking joking. Let's hang out again sometimes? Like maybe as my date to the Blood moon ball..?"
Ps, you're such a drooler lol"

He sent that text 1 hour ago, so I reply back:

":C I can't believe I was a one night stand tsk tsk. And a date? With THE Tom Lucitor? Count me in~"

I rewrite the message about 6 times before I actually sent it.

What am I feeling? I'm happy he asked me on a date, but at the same time I want to drop kick him for teasing me..I DON'T DROOL! Or do I?

Besides the point, how will I tell this to Star? Psssh, what am I talking about? This is Star after all; I'm sure she wouldn't mind if I hang with her ex. Okay, that sounds a bit more weird than I thought.

I decide to watch some Netflix while i contemplate what I'm going to say to Star when I see her. She should've been home by now, but knowing her she's probably wrecked a cop car or something like that.

An hour later Marco and Star return home, both looking like they just saved the world again from total domination. Ahh, the usual.

"Welcome home. Rough day at the office?" I giggle.

"More like Star destroyed the office." Marco says lacking energy. Star and Marco bicker for a bit as I prepare to make some Earth recipes that i recently learned about. They call it a homemade pizza. (Don't say anything, I just bought one and I'm heating it up. Earth technology! Yayyy)

After finishing the pizza, everyone comes in to chow down. Marco finishes quickly as he heads to his room to call this girl named Jackie. Star has mentioned this girl before and I already understand the entire situation. I really look up to my sister, especially now since she's able to support Marco to get this girl, even though Star clearly likes him.

"How are things with Marco?" I attempt to do girl talk.

Her face reddens slightly then her expression turns meek."O-Oh you mean, with Jackie! Of course hehe things are going..just great!"

I sigh."let's be real here, you got a thing for Marco, don't cha? Why not just go for it? Woe him away with your cute charm."

"I'm not going to deny those facts, but—." she pauses. "I want to support Marco. I can't like him forever? They even invited me with them to the Love Sentence concert.." she slams her face into the kitchen table.

Star and I have always shared a deep bond even though we never spent all that much time together as kids. I regret not getting that opportunity to be a younger sister. I can't believe what I'm about to do..

"I have something that'll make you feel better; stay right there." I go upstairs and use my wand to create a cosplay outfit..not just any cosplay..a Nico Yazawa cosplay. She's a character from an anime that Star and I used to watch called Love Live. Tying my hair in the cute pigtails that Nico has, I sell my soul to the devil.

"Star~" I squeak heading down the stairs.

She turns to look at me with her mouth open wide. I'm not sure if she is in shock or about to break into a fit of laughter.

I take a deep breath."NICO NICO NIIII~!" Bending my thumbs and pinkies, I pull off the ultimate cute anime loli look.  Please end me.

Stars immediate reaction is to video me as I prance around like the idol I am. Bursting into laughter every time I move. She soon joins me as Star also copies the Nico cosplay.

Little did we know, a certain demon boy was leaning against the frame of the door leading to the kitchen. I didn't notice his quiet snicker until a flash of light blinds me.

"This is definitely a good lock screen for my phone." He laughs contagiously.

My face flushes red as I chase Tom around the house, shooting random things from my wand in embarrassment. Star kicks her leg out and trips the salmon haired demon, causing me to trip as well. He braces my fall as we collide, me landing on his chest since he tried to catch me mid-fall.

I can sense Star's smirks from a distance as she winks and tiptoes off down the hallway.

"You okay..?" He questions, caressing my face with his warm hands. We're both panting deeply from basically chasing each other around the house for what seemed like a 2 mile sprint.

My already blushing face starts to heat up more."I-I um, I'm a-okay!" I maintain my composure."how about you? I expected you to get angry, but you're oddly calm?"

"I can't kill my 89 day streak now can I?" He grins.

"I guess not?" I giggle, instead of getting up from on top of him, we stay there for a while just staring at each other.

I wouldn't mind moments like these more often.
