Well, Minhyuk has abs but who's complaining ?? Certainly not you anyway.

After the 'incident', Hazel left quickly, mumbling something about staying at her boyfriends for the night. It didn't register with you until the evening that you would be alone with Minhyuk for the whole night.

By the time the sun went down, the layer of awkward tension hung loosely in the air and both of you were somewhat aware of it. Seeing Minhyuks abs had definitely made you look at him in a different way than before. You used to only see him as a cute, childish boy but now you see him as a mysterious, handsome guy.

Suddenly, you were jolted out of your daydream at the sound of rattling and then a loud clatter on the floor. You were in the kitchen, trying to distance yourself from Minhyuk to get your thoughts straight, so you made your way into the living room area to inspect.

Sitting in the floor, crosslegged, was Minhyuk fiddling with an old cassette case. Watching him trying to figure out what it was, you slowing made your way over towards him. You couldn't stay away from him, you were always drawn back somehow.

Noticing your presence, he beams up at you before pulling you down to sit on his lap, bringing his hands in front of you, still holding the case.

"W-what are you doing ?!?!" You exclaimed, flustered.

"What's this?" Minhyuk asked, completely avoiding your question with a cheeky smile on his face. "I've never seen one before."

"Oh it's um a cassette, it plays music." You explain, a blush covering your cheeks.

"Hm they must have forgot to put this in the program they installed me with..", Minhyuk said, thinking out aloud.

Over the few weeks you'd spent with him, you'd almost forgotten that he wasn't a 'real' person, but was made for you.

"Here..", you say, taking the cassette from his hands and putting it into the old style boombox that Hazel and you kept.

Upon hearing the click of the play button, upbeat 80s music began flowing through the speakers loudly. All of a sudden, Minhyuk stood up, pulling you up with him. He grabbed your hands and started to dance along to the music. He smiled brightly and began to laugh as your face got even more red than it was before. Inevitably, you started laugh along with him and before you knew it, you were dancing along with him too.

Hand in hand, he spun you around then pulled you towards his chest and snaked his arms around your waist. You were too wrapped up in the moment for you to even notice how close you two were. It was only him, you and the music.

With the song still playing in the background, Minhyuk leaned forward and kissed you. It felt true and real, like he really meant it, like he wants to remember the moment forever and never let it go.

"I really love you, (y/n)..", Minhyuk sighed dreamily once he pulled away.

You don't know if it was the way he looked at you and held you or if it was the song, but some unknown force urged you to tell Minhyuk something that you've been wanting to say to him for the longest time, but have never had the courage to say.

"..I love you too.."

I think I had a heart attack and lost a few years of my life and now I'm traumatised for the rest of my sorry days..
