This is just a joke and not serious so don't think I hold this close to me heart or whatever...
By the phone, you waited.. and waited.. and waited. For what? You didn't know. A call from Minhyuk? A call to say he was coming home? A call to check up on you?
No matter how long you waited, there was never any call. You don't know why you were expecting one anyway. Its not like you told him to call you or anything but you still had that speck of hope inside you that held on to the chance that Minhyuk would just call you to see how you are.
But your gut told you that that speck was weak and couldn't hold on for much longer.
Maybe he's just busy. Yeah, cafes are normally busy in the afternoon when people are finishing work. However, reassuring yourself was not completely working as you still had the claws of doubt tauntingly scratching at the back of your mind.
Isn't it mostly girls who work at that cafe?
"Stop it, brain...", you mutter to yourself as you hit your forehead lightly a few times.
Just as you thought that your doubt would wholly shroud your mind, you heard the sound of keys fumbling into the locked door of the apartment from the outside.
He's home.
Relief washed over you as you made your way over to the door to greet Minhyuk.
"What took you so long?" You said teasingly to mask how much you've missed him. As you leaned forward to give him a hug, he removed himself from your presence.
"Uh, sorry Y/N.. my uniforms too dirty for hugs..", he spewed our sheepishly before he quickly scuttled off to the bathroom.
Huh, that's funny. It didn't look messy at all. Even if it was dirty he still could have gave you a kiss. Why doesn't he want to touch you? No, stop it, doubt. What are you doing? You trust him, he's your boyfriend, he loves you...
...right?
