On a warm summers eve in the medieval kingdom of Velora, the Queen gave birth to her first child, the heir to the throne, Princess Geneva Underwood. The King, unlike those before him, was thrilled to have a daughter. She was his pride and joy, his little flower that he would love and cherish.
However, this baby was destined to be Queen of Velora, and her time to be a carefree child was cut short. Raised mostly by her governess, and allotted short periods of time for play, the young Geneva detested the notion of becoming queen. She refused to sit pretty and be only a figurehead that would one day be overruled by a foreign king. She decided that if she were going to be queen, then she would be a fearless, valiant leader, and that she would never bend her knee to a man—Veloran, or not.
