TWO WORLDS

It had been two days since the kiss with Elijah and we hadn't spoken or even shared a glance but I wasn't going to let that get me down as we had something special planned tonight.

Rebekah decided to have a real celebration of my return my throwing a family dinner I laughed when I heard of the plan to eat as a family we are the most dysfunctional family to ever live. I complained that it couldn't be a family dinner as I am not blood family and she just laughed and hugged me tight and whispered the three words I wanted to believe
'You are family"

I had just finished placing the table when Elijah walked into the empty dinner hall I gave him a quick look and caught him staring
"If you want to talk Elijah talk" I groaned standing up straight and running my fingers through my hair
"I don't want to-" he began before I laughed out slightly
"Don't give me that Elijah I know when you want to talk so go ahead I'm not stopping you" I sighed out pulling out a chair and sitting down

'I just wanted to say sorry I heard you crying the other day and I'm sincerely sorry for the way I left things " he said pulling out a chair beside me and sitting down
"Its okay eli its my fault I kissed you and then pulled back I was the idiot in this story" I groaned again but giving him a slight smile
"No you are not and idiot but I still don't understand why you pulled back at all" he said sitting back putting his hands in a interlocked position

"Eli we are from two separate worlds mine I use to fill with happiness yours you use to dwell on the darkness you are a lost soul Elijah and until you free yourself of your demons you will never be truly happy" I sighed putting my small hand on his
"But one day our two worlds will become one" he sighed standing up
"Megara that I can swear" he whispered before leaving me to dwell on his words

I know a very short chapter but I have writer block and it sucks
