"Yeah whatever. Anyway, I'm proud of what you did today. Maybe all this can actually be real," she said as she gave me a peck on my cheek and walked out of my house.
I sighed as I walked back to my room. Picking up my phone, I checked back into the chat that I usually used to talk with the squad.

The awkward atmosphere grew around us.
"I'm sorry for uhh, saying anything.." she said.
"I'm sorry Areum, I just don't.. feel that.. way.." I said.
Because I can't.
"Yeah, I .. I understand. I-it was stupid of me, I shouldn't have-"
"No, no, it wasn't stupid, I'm the one.. being, I just stop talking now."
Awkward silence.
"Can we at least hug it out?" I said.
"I-I actually need to go. I'm in a hurry," I said as I tried to run away.
"W-wait! At least say goodbye," I said as I held back her arm.
She stopped. She took a deep breath and turned around with a big smile.
"Goodbye, Jungkook."
I couldn't love her because I was already engaged.
That was dumb. That was so fucking stupid, but I couldn't do anything.
And I couldn't help myself.
"Yooo, congrats Jungkook, you got yourself a girlfriendd"
Shit.
And then things went downhill from there. She got a boyfriend and I couldn't help but be jealous.
