Frey didn't want to move out of his bed and so instead of dragging him to Aea's quarters, they dragged Aea over to him. It probably wasn't a wise decision - both Azar and Courtney were very defensive and shouted at the guards a lot. There was a lot of cursing at one guard when he sniggered at Wynter's flinch when Wynter was touched. Eventually the guards managed to coax the group into Frey's room.

He was sitting in the bed, grinning. It was relatively hot in the room as well and so he was shirtless and grinning, a great first impression. As a whole, Aea didn't really seem overly interested. After all, Azar had a husband and Alice was way too young. Courtney was bi but not interested and Wynter (although into guys) wasn't looking for a relationship right now - he was unstable enough without another person on his hands. Not that Frey was necessarily interested in any of them.

"Hi," Frey began, "I'm Frey Jónsson."

"Courtney Shepherds."

"Azar Ishati."

"Alice Charman."

"Wynter Earle."

Considering Aea had Azar, a woman who had just joined with them, they were pretty good at working together as a team and already were bonding remarkably well. It wouldn't be long before Azar was as close to Alice, Wynter and Courtney as they were to each other.

"Sucks to be here, but it's lucky for me that I get some communication," Frey smiled lightly, but he was donning a mask. This wasn't his true self really, this was more just introductions. It was like he was being cool with them, just to test out what they were really like.

"We don't work for Blackwing if that's what you were concerned about," Courtney stated.

"I wasn't concerned," Frey told her sincerely, "I wasn't wondering either."

"Then would you like to explain to us why you are being cold," Azar crossed her arms.

"What?" Frey protested, "I am not being cold!"

"Wynter, are you detecting an aura of coldness?" Azar asked, not even looking at Wynter.

"Because he is the best, see," Alice explained in a whispered tone.

"Yes actually I am picking one up. It isn't even subtle," Wynter agreed.

"See? What Wynter says goes. Therefore, you are being cold. End of. Now open up."

"I don't do that," Frey said awkwardly. He couldn't do that - he didn't want to tell them about his hometown and how he wanted to lull himself, that was not something you explain when you first meet someone. Although he did do that with Myles....oh well.

"Well, you should," Alice encouraged, "How's about you tell us about why you are here."

Frey's face darkened, "I'm here because I can mess with thunder and lightning. But I'm still here because my parents decided to abandon me here without letting me saying goodbye. Still want to know why I don't open up?"

"Everyone here has a dark past, Frey. It's not exactly a perfect world is it?" Azar chuckled, "I know my life isn't great. It wasn't that bad but it wasn't the best. I had a good husband who I desperately want to go back to, but my actual way of life wasn't what it could have been."

"Okay, well why don't you tell me about yourselves. I said why I was here - what do you do and why are you in a large group?"
