A/N: lotto545  You didn't want this and therefore I had to make it happen. Without further ado, I present to you: Ellen Colden (2)

Neo had had a busy couple of days. First, the lengthy time with the Rowdy boys in which he had been accepted into the clan, then bringing back an amazing CIA shooter to life after a heart attack, a feat which he was uneasy about. The universe hadn't yet reprimanded himself for it so this was his own gut instinct, that saving that Felix guy had not been a good idea.

And then, the next day, even though he thought that he deserved some rest, he was transported off to the room of Ellen Colden.

After 6 minutes 36 seconds (Neo had counted) of sitting in silence, both of them staring at the white wall, Neo was going insane and decided to introduce himself. It was a good start, he thought, to at least try and befriend the girl who had given him one icy look and then turned to face the wall and hadn't spoken a word.

"Hi," he began abruptly. "I'm Neo Valdor. And you are?"

The girl did not answer. A few seconds passed, and the girl still continued to not answer.

"Okay. Err...it's not a very nice place, Blackwing, is it? Wouldn't you like to get out of here? I would love that. I would rather choose who I got to bring back to life, not CIA shooters who the universe has killed for a reason. Anyways. Yeah."

The girl, unsurprisingly, simply sighed and continued to stare at the wall. There was another three minutes of awkward silence as Neo eagerly waited for an answer and the girl gave him another icy look to dismiss him.

But in the end, after the three minutes were over, Ellen spoke up.

"I'm Ellen Colden. You're the necromancer. Odd because I do the opposite to you. With my touch I kill people." Not long ago, this would have sent shivers down Neo's spine but now he had heard about the likes of Bart Curlish and this girl didn't seem like she enjoyed her power.

"I killed my mum," was the next piece of information that she spilled. Neo's eyebrows had raised on that one but he was staring down at her lap, picking at her nails.

Gently, he reached across to stop her and she hissed. "For obvious reasons, I don't do touching."

"Oh," Neo felt stupid because he should have realised that but he returned his hand back to his side. "So....D'ya want to get out of here?"

"Obviously. But...I don't really have anywhere to go, although I guess I could go to my aunt's. But she has too many kids already. She would love me and all, but kids don't live on love alone." Ellen seemed quite saddened, parts of her wall breaking down as a result of talking about her aunt.

There must have been something wrong with Neo because as he attempted to comfort the girl, he automatically reached out to touch her hand in sympathy. He was going to explain that Martin would find her people to stay with and a place, but their hands brushed and there was a surge of electricity between the two hands, a sizzling noise. They both looked in horror at each other and Neo wasn't able to stutter out an apology before they both fell unconscious.

The unconscious state wasn't normal; it led them into a sort of state of paralysis where they found themselves thinking like they normally would. There was a man standing before both of them, too far away for them to identify his face properly but he was wearing a grey cloak.

"The balance of the universe must be restored," was the one thing the man said silently, and then the vision faded and both boy and girl fell into normal unconsciousness, and it was just another odd dream in the sea of mysteries that are conjured up in little children's heads.
