It has been two months since Andrew and I have split up. It felt good to be away from him. When I left the night of the fight, I went straight to my mother's house. She has been living alone ever since I moved out five years ago. When I was sixteen and found out I was pregnant Andrew and I decided to get our own house when I turned eighteen. I know what your thinking. Pregnant at a young age. Andrew didn't have a condom and said he has a "strong pulling out game" I shouldn't have listened to him but I don't care anymore because I'm glad I had Addison. But anyway, My sister went to collage in New York after she graduated from high school. She got a boyfriend in collage and after two years of being together he proposed to her and they got married. Now they live in a nice house in New York.

My father died when I was nine years old. I still remember him and I miss him so much. He died in a car accident. He left the house mad because my mother and him fought that day. He left, got drunk and, drove. My mother thought it was all her fault and she balled her eyes out for days. Ever since he died she hadn't been the same, and I feel so bad for her and I didn't wanna leave her at the time but she told me it was best for me and my baby.

It is currently a Friday night and it was the weekend Addison stayed with me. It's ten o' clock currently and it was her bed time. She usually goes to sleep at nine on a school night but since it was the weekend I let her stay up an extra hour.

But ever since she has been going to Andrews, she doesn't fall asleep as quick as she used to. I think Andrew has been letting her stay up for as long as she wanted. I didn't want her up all night because she won't get up for school. I've been wanting to talk to him about it but haven't gotten around to it.

"Come on sweetie it's time to go to bed." I told Addison as she was coloring on the table in her room. Luckily my mother had an extra room.

"But mommy, I'm not tired yet. Can I stay up for a little while?" She pouted.

"I'm sorry Addi but you really need to go to sleep now. I'm going in bed soon too." I tell her.

"Fine." Is all she says.

She goes to her bed and gets under the covers. I walk over to her and tuck her in. "Goodnight baby, sleep well. I love you."

"I love you too mommy!" She leans up a little and I give her a kiss.

I turn off her light before walking out and leaving her door open a crack.

I walk into my moms room and see that she is already asleep. I walk over to her and kiss her on the cheek. "Goodnight mom" I whisper.

I walk out of her room and I go out to the living room and straiten up for my mom. It was mostly Addison's toys anyway. Just as I finish, I go out to the kitchen and I grab a bag of chips. I take the chips up to my room I've been in and sit on my bed.

It has been boring lately. I guess I just feel alone without being in a relationship. I'm so over Andrew and I needed to move on. There is nobody around my area who interest me. I tried talking to this one guy for a while who I met at Starbucks but he didn't seem to be my type.

I pull out my phone and go in all my social media. After that gets boring, I start to play a few games. When I lose on my one game an add pops up. I HATE adds. I mean, who doesn't?

An add pops up and as I'm about to press the "x" and I stop myself. I notice it is a dating app. I stare at it a while and decide whether or not if I wanted to download it. I saw a lot of movies that show people meeting other people on dating apps and social media and that person ends up to be a killer, psycho, or something.

I decided to just download it and I knew to be careful. I'm not desperate to get a boyfriend it's just that I want someone to do fun things with. I want someone who cares about me and is okay with the idea of me having a child by someone else.

The app finally downloaded. I pressed on it and the first thing that comes up is "sign up". I sign up and it starts to ask me to write a bio about myself.

I write-
My name is Laura Marano. I'm 22 years old. Live in Los Angeles, California. My birthday is in November. I like to travel places and I'm an adventurous person. I have a daughter named Addison and she's 7 years old.

After I submit it, I smirk when it brings me to a screen with many guys.

This should be fun.
