I couldn't believe what I was looking at.
A puppy. I was looking at a puppy. I can't believe ross got her this. It probably costed him so much for it. I don't know how to even feel about this. I always told Addison no when she begged me to get her a dog. It's a big responsibility and I don't know how my mother would feel about a dog running around in her house. My mom had a dog and her name was velvet but she died when I was twenty two and I was so upset. Getting another dog just feels like I'm replacing velvet, but I'm not gonna lie. This puppy is kinda cute.

Ross had it in a blue box with white ribbon around it. The puppy had black around both his eyes and both ears. He also had a patch of black on his back, and the rest was white.

"Its so cute! Is it Really mine ross!?" Addison asks with her hands covered over her mouth.

"Yes, she really is!" Ross sets the box down  on the ground and lifts the puppy up.

"Thank you so much ross! It's so cute, your the best person ever!" She pulls her arms around his legs and hugs them tight, and he pats her on the back. "Your welcome hunny."

She pulls away and he bends down to give her the puppy. Once she has it in her hands the other kids crowed around her in awe.

Andrew rolls his eyes and walks away. He was obviously jealous that ross was practically taking his daughter away from him. He wasn't taking her away from him, it's just that Addison happens to like ross a lot.

As the kids adore the dog, Andrew walks away and I don't know where to. I walk over to ross who was watching the kids play with the dog and I tap him on the shoulder. He looks at me with a smile on his face "do you like her?" He asks referring to the dog.

I did think the dog was cute but I don't know if I could handle it. But it would be cute to have a little puppy running around the house. I could get it some new toys and even take it for walks. Now that I think of it, I wanna definitely keep this dog.

"You really got her a dog?" I say watching the kids play with it.

"Yep, it's a girl and my mother helped me pick it out because we already have three of them dogs, and I remembered that Addison told me she loved dogs so I got her one."

My heart flutters at his words, it means so much that he wants to make my daughter happy.

"Your so sweet, and she's so cute but it probably costed you so much!"

"Don't worry about it baby, I don't care how much money I spend on you girls." He pushes my hair behind my ear and kisses my cheek.

I stood there staring at him in shock. He just called me baby, which he never did before, and the way he told me he doesn't care how much money he spends on us made my heart melt. All the sweet talk gets to me so easily because I have never been talked to this way. Ross is just the sweetest to me and I want it to last forever.

"Are you okay? Did I say something wrong?" He asks taking my hand.

I stop staring and shake my head. "No you didn't say anything wrong I just blacked out I guess." I giggle

"Good you scared me there for a second." He chuckles. "So your good that I got her a dog?"

It takes me a second to answer. "I always told Addi no when she asked for a dog but I got to admit this dog is so cute, so I guess it's alright." I put my arms around his neck and give him a hug. "Thank you so much for trying to make my daughter happy, she loves you."

He hugs me back and pets my hair. "I love her too." He says before pulling away. We stood there smiling at each other before leaning in, but Andrew interrupts us, of course.

"Okay everyone! Addi is going to open my presents now." Andrew yells loud enough or everyone to hear. Ross and I look at each other once more before Addi comes over and hands ross the dog. She goes over to Andrew and grabs the present in his hands, starting to unwrap it.

"Do you wanna hold her?" Ross turns to me.

I smile up at him and take the dog from his hands and she licks my face. Ross and I laugh together before we here Addison scream for the  third time today.

We look over and Andrew is opening a package for her. "Thank you daddy! I've been wanting one forever!"

I hand the puppy over to ross and walk over to Andrew and Addison. "What is it?"

Addison looks up at me. "Mommy! Daddy got me an I pad!" She screams in my ear.

My eyes widen and I look at the I pad that Andrew was turning on in his hands. "Why did you get her this Andrew!?" He looks over to me and shrugs.

"She's been telling me she wanted one forever."

I didn't know what to think about this gift. She could be on YouTube and come along inappropriate things she shouldn't know about.

"Why didn't you ask me before buying it?" Now I knew I was being over dramatic.

"It doesn't matter, you don't need to know everything." He rolls his eyes and gives Addison the I pad. I just ignore him and walk back over to ross, who no longer had the puppy because the kids took her.

"Is everything okay?" He asks in concern.

"Ya I'm fine." I slightly smile and look over to Addison and Andrew who were probably setting it up.

"He wasn't mean to you was he?" He moves the hair out of my face so he could see me.

I sigh. "I'm just a little upset he didn't ask me if it was okay to get her an I pad... he knows I don't want her to have one cause of all those perverts and inappropriate websites that are online. And all I did was asked him why he didn't ask me before buying it, and he yelled at me."

"That's ridiculous I'll be right back." He walks past me and on his way to Andrew. I grab his arm and try to pull him back to me, but it didn't work. He pulls his arm back and went right over to Andrew.
