I decided to wait to text him when I got home. When I got home I put away the groceries and sat on the couch. I didn't feel quite hungry anymore.

I go on my phone and go to his message.

Ross- hello :)

I stare at the message for a couple of seconds before I decided to text him back.

Laura- Hi :)

I waited about two minutes on the app to see if he would text me back right away. He hasn't. While waiting for him to answer, I decided to play a few games.

He still didn't answer me after ten minutes of playing games. I really wanted to text him again but I didn't want to bother him, and make him think I'm annoying.

I was about to go back to my game but that's when my phone died. I sigh, as I took my phone in the room to put it on the charger.

I walk out of the room and went to do the laundry to kill time. After I put a load of laundry in, I washed the rest of the dishes.

After I did work around the house I check the time. 1:19. 2:20 Addison gets off the bus. I had time before I had to wait for her so I decided to take a nap.

I lay down on the couch and cover myself up with the blanket that my mother put on the back of the couch. I drifted right to sleep.

I wake up a little later. I got up and checked the time and see it's 2:15. If I slept any longer I would have missed getting Addison off the bus.

I walked over to put on my shoes and went out the door. I walked down the street a little where the bus would drop off Addison.

After a little bit, the bus stopped in front of me and Addison came running towards me.

"Mommy! I missed you!" She jumps on me and gives me a tight hug.

I hug her back chuckling. "I missed you too baby." We walk back to the house and I start making dinner, while Addison is doing her homework.

"Mommy, my friends were talking about going to the fair this week. Can we go? I never been to a fair and I wanna go so bad!" Addison asks with hope in her eyes.

Just as she says that, I remember Andrew wanted to take her tomorrow.

I still didn't like that idea.

I walk over to her and set a plate of spaghetti and a glass of apple juice on the table.

" baby, daddy asked me today if he could take you to the fair tomorrow after school." I tell her.

"Really! Did you say yes!? I really want to go!" She asks excitedly.

I give her a wide smile. "Of course I said yes. You told me you wanted to go last week, so I told him it would be fine."

"Thank you mommy! I can't wait to tell my friends I get to go to!" She tells me , as she takes a bite of her spaghetti.

"Your welcome Addie. Are you done with your homework?" She nods as she then takes a sip of her juice.

I take her worksheet and put it back in her folder, and in her school bag. She only gets homework on Mondays it feels like.
