Andrew puts his hand down and looks at ross. I didn't know what was going to happen but I was worried it was going to get serious.

"Who the fuck are you?" Andrew says getting closer to him, while I back away from the two boys.

"My name is ross, and I don't know why your being such a jerk to her but it needs to stop!" Ross screams.

"Excuse me, but I could do what I want blonde!" Andrew said pushing ross backwards which only caused him to take a couple steps back.

"Not to my girlfriend you can't! Ross says pushing Andrew back this time.

"Guys, please stop!" I shout walking closer to them. "Ross can we just go please."  But nobody listened to me.

"Your girlfriend? You guys are dating!?" Andrew asks furiously. "You can't date her, she's mine!" He pushes ross back even harder.

"She's not yours anymore Andrew, you have a girlfriend! Laura can't just stay single her whole life, and if you think there is a way your getting her back, there ain't!" By now ross is grabbing the collar of his shirt. "You moved on, she moved on, so leave Laura alone!" He takes a breath and tugs on his shirt more. "If I ever hear that you raise a hand to her again, I'll break both of your hands." Ross says letting go of his shirt.

"Let's go" ross says looking at me before walking to the car. I look at Andrew and shake my head in disbelief before walking to the car.

When I get in the passenger seat, ross starts driving and I look out the window. The ride back home was quiet, the only sound that was being made was the wind blowing against the open windows.

I couldn't believe what went on back there. I knew Andrew was going to hit me but I was shocked when ross came out of the car and called him out. I am slightly mad that he didn't stop arguing with him when I told him to, only because I didn't want it to get serious, and I didn't want my daughter to see any of it.

Oh god...."Addison" I thought. I hope she didn't see any of it, I'll feel bad if she did. But I guess it was better than for her to see her own father hit her mother. Right?

Ross pulls in the driveway at my moms and just sits still without getting out of the car.

"Are you coming?" I ask him opening up my door.

He looks at me a little upset and turns towards me. "Laura, I'm sorry for what went on back there, but when I saw him raise his hand to you I couldn't help it." He says shaking his head. "I should have listened to you when you asked me to go."

" it's okay ross." I sigh

"I didn't scare you did I?" He asks grabbing my hand.

"No you didn't scare me. It's okay you were just helping me out." I exclaim giving his hand a squeeze. "Let's just forget about it and go inside it's getting dark."

We both get out of the car and walk into the house. I turn on the lights and take my shoes off along with Ross. "Did you want to go in the hot tub now? I ask Ross

"Ya sure" He says giving me a small smile.

I tell him I would be right back while I go get our swimming clothes from the dryer. When I go back to ross I hand him his shorts and he gets dressed in the bathroom again while I get dressed in my room.

When we are finished getting dressed, we go outside with towels and I open up the hot tub. It's dark outside so I make sure to put on the lights that were built into it.

Once it's ready, I go in and ross follows after me. "Ahhh this feels so good." Ross says sitting next to me and closing his eyes.

I giggle at his cuteness and sink further into the water, but just as I get comfortable my phone rings.

I sit up in the water and throw my hands in the air. "Really! Do I ever get a break? He calls me all the damn time!" I say standing up, but then ross pulls me back down next to him.

"Just let it go, he's probably only calling to yell at you anyway." He says putting his hand on my thigh

I look down at his hand, feeling a chill go through my body, and a tingly feeling in my stomach. I haven't felt this way in forever because I was stuck with Andrew all the time, and I'm mad at myself because If I would have left Andrew sooner, maybe I would have met ross sooner.

I lose my train of thought when I hear my phone stops ringing, and I look up at ross who was looking down at me. "What if there is something wrong with Addison? I ask worriedly.

"I'm sure she's okay beautiful." He says moving his hand off my thigh only to put his arm around my shoulder and leans me closer into him.
