Adrift Forever

As still as the dark night and
Soft as the loud winds,
I gradually drifted.

Upon my cloud-chariot I cascaded the heavens,
And tip-toeing a revolution on the moon, I drifted some more.

Fragile nosed my lungs collapsed
And I rested assured on the sun's laps. Then when I saw Christ I drifted on more.

Slingshotted through my dreams I roast with fever.
A broken satellite adrift forever?
