forgive these three sins

"Oh Lord, forgive three sins that are due to my human limitations: thou art everywhere, but I worship you here; Thou art without form, but I worship you in these forms; Thou needest no praise, yet I offer you these prayers and salutations. Lord, forgive these three sins that are due to my human limitations."

With your light I created darkness,
I shone the bright shadows unto your world
and she took refuge in it.

That great day lucifer fell from heaven
I caught him in the cushions of my mind.
He pierced my consciousness with doubt and disbelief, then wept bitterly on my shoulders.
Tears like hot-burning coals ashed my skin, and then and there manifested the monster within
as the skies darkened along with my thoughts.

I saw grace and mercy outstretched in my direction, but I was afraid, so I cowered.
A stream of everlasting love poured from your eyes as you felt my pain.
This sheep was long lost and he was not alone.

Yawning on my laps, I nested pure evil, yet you never left me.
Now, nothing but thick regret and smoking anger enraged me.

I scrambled from The Darkness as he thunderbolted through the surface.
You saved me from the depths of hell and the snare of the tempest.
But I became too broken to heal.

That sad day I dreaded each footstep away from your splendor.
And although I drifted and drifted, you were always with me.

We watched the flaming cherubim like sunset every evening.
And the seed of that once bright morning star flourished and budded generations.

It was then that we crafted an image of the invisible God.
I carved the standing feet as firm as the foundations of the earth.
She carved the lips to sing you praises.
Then that seed sacrificed unto you.

In my great dawn I sang you praises, though you did not need them.

Then I saw you full-figured.
You were seated in the Belfry of my heart.
Cloaked in love and mercy when you called my name.

Realization struck, then shame, then subtleness

Then I pleaded;
